i think trying to fall back in love with your own writing hurts more than falling out of it - because you realize what you had and you're trying to get it back, but it's not coming together sometimes

especially after having to write academically and not knowing how to be creative anymore.

i'm ivy and well this is gonna be a venty idk whatever thing i guess

who knows but i'm creating this because i used to love writing and it was a safe place but then well it wasn't anymore and i miss that so i am making a new one.

so there will be a mix of everything and anything honestly i just want a place to be myself there will be all of my interests like books and reading and like nature and food, food is very very fun especially baking and also formula one which is what i spend most of my time with if i don't have a book in hand. but this is mostly a space for me to grow and heal because (about to get very personal be warned) i lost a friend of mine who i knew for my whole life a month ago and yeah well i'm mostly familiar with grief because i have lost lots of people i'm not quite sure what to do with myself and i don't want to lose myself in grief like i have before so yeah. there will be lots of shitty poetry which will be like writing idk it'll be something be warned. so yeah that was a vent post kind of explanation but okay yeah i'm done writing this imma just push post now.
