NAF Cafe

We helped to run the NAF Cafe one evening.  It was a lot of fun.  We each had different jobs to do - here are some photos of the different things we did to help.

The next week we moved into the big hall and put together some small plays based around refugees.  I took photos and helped with directing.  I really enjoyed this week.  More photos of this coming...

Today we were doing a drama workshop - It was to do with Shakespere if I remember (mum had to help me remember).  It was a lot of fun and we all learn’t new things.

NAF Arts Award - 14 March

Today we played games, the games were called Splat and I can’t remember the other games - why not....

What else did you do?

I can’t remember...  we played games...  Oh I made hot chocolate... and forgot to bring my camera.   You (mum) gave me your phone so I could take pictures and I forgot...sorry, no pictures today.

What’s your homework this week?

To teach someone next week how to use a camera and I have to write it down first.

28 February 2017 - Shrove Tuesday

Today we spent some time painting - I made a painting called ‘A Battle of Colours’.  It was good fun and quite messy.  Then I had to go and do a presentation to Vicky about the photographer I’d researched.  While I was doing this, the others were playing games and Connor was drawing.

Then the fun started and we all got to make pancakes and eat them!

Pancakes!  We had fun in the kitchen making pancakes and mixing the batter.

Today we did a lot of fun things at the Arts Forum.  First we did some painting, well some of us drew pictures.  I enjoyed that, it was fun to make the pigments join together - I called my painting ‘A Battle of Colours’.

After we’d made a mess with the pigments we played games and the others made pancakes for Shrove Tuesday.

Last night (25 Feb) we went to The MAC in Birmingham to see 2 shows. They were supposed to be for 12 and over and the language in the first show was definitely for over 12s. I enjoyed the plays and thought they were interesting.

WEEK 4 - Tuesday in the half term at our Arts Award meeting. Everyone had a fun time painting and drawing with ink and paint. We meet in a cafe which was good because it was less noisy.
