me and my one notebook that if lost would completely throw my academic life into disarray
Nights in ✨
March 30, 2021 // Morning ritual.
I get asked a lot about the notebooks I use, so here are the two I use for journaling. I use a pocket-sized Moleskine daily planner as a place to write down brief thoughts or experiences from my day. I use my Leuchtturm1917 notebook (this color is called “rising sun”) for to-do lists, taking notes during work meetings, and longer prose. Both of these brands are relatively expensive (around $20 usd) but I love the style and quality.

This is going to be a busy month.
A little bit of co—working in the last bit of morning sun. At the moment I am really enjoying these darker, more minimal contrasting colours and textures in our apartment, it makes my head feel clearer 🤍
this long holiday break got me so productive that i managed to create my own study vlog channel! you can watch my first vlog here.
so far, this week:
started reading a new oscar wilde play
submitted another commissioned article
cleaned my bookshelf and some parts of the house
currently editing my second study vlog
it’s quite different from my dark academic posts because i wanted to show a different kind of aesthetic that i also live by.
17 February 2021 // went on a 2 hour walk

Rain, tea, research & zoom study session
We do zoom sessions almost every day now, sometimes even for the whole day. When we're not studying, we’re doing chores or one of us is reading and the other watching a movie. It really helps during lockdown.
Raeading enriches the soul, brodens your vocabulary and provides varied topics of conversation.

“I can give you nothing but a warm and grateful heart that is yours now and always.” -Emily Dickinson
April has arrived and with it cherry blossoms, sunshine and my pollen allergy :)) besides that I’ve been trying to get back into my studying routine but tbh it’s been a real struggle lol but I’m trying my best with the help of study streams and libraries
