Go to university, but go for the right reasons. Education isn’t a gun held to your head: it’s a weapon in your hands. Go not because you’re afraid of not getting a job but go because you love to learn, because you’re excited by ideas, because you believe that education is important for its own sake, and when you get there, pay attention, read everything you can get your hands on, cram yourself with words and figures and ideas, because that’s the one thing they can never take away from you.

A level results
I just wanted you guys to know that thanks to the studyblr community I’ve gotten better A level results than I could have dreamed of. This community really helped motivate me to keep working and push through my resits, and I couldn’t be happier.
Due to doing better than expected I’m actually taking a year out and reapplying to some slightly trickier universities :)
So wish me luck as I prepare for some really tricky entrance exams! (Which means that this blog will become active once again)
Studying, done right, can be the most rewarding of all activites. It is stimulating, but relaxing. You’re focused, but wandering through your mind. Your mind is abuzz, but your body breathes slow. You’re alone, but in the company of millenia of thinking. You pick something up, take it apart and you make it your own. You’re literally assembling your future thoughts. You’re in control of how you will see the world.
You’re growing, but you’re raising yourself.

A little post from me ~
I’d like to start by saying hi to all my new followers (there’s so many of you! Seriously I leave for my English exam and come back to this!) and welcome you to my hopefully somewhat inspirational blog.
I love you all and you will do amazingly in your exams :)

6.01|| planning my summer out
Quite a grand view, if you ask me. A rainy day reading about cocaine dependent honey bees is a rainy day well spent.
Studying Marriage and Family out on the porch today, rainy Florida weather is my favorite. Loving my new Simple Note notebook by Monopoly.
