Is it hard to get a 4.0?

I'm not really familiar with GPA as I go to university in Scotland. It is given to us but not spoken about much.At my university though it has been very hard for me to get A's this year. I started out the year with D's and C's mostly because what my school had taught me to do was not correct at university.When I did finally start getting A's this year it took a lot of effort at first. I read every chapter and MORE from books I had to find myself, had to pay very close attention to what assignment remits asked for and had asked tutors what I had done wrong before.It is hard. It's different wherever you go as different tutors and universities have different opinions when marking. As long as you are 100% motivated to do well you will do great! All you need is to be focused on your goal and it will be so worth it.

I have been so inactive on here because I was not expecting it to take up all of my time. But it did and I'm here now! Awaiting exam results that are next week.
