Team Logan
Ok, this is a little off topic, but it’s winter break so it’s fine. I would just like to say I am Team Logan. Here’s why:
-He pushes Rory to try new things
-He never held her back
-He helped open new doors for her
What was wrong with Dean:
-He was kind of clingy
-He WAS holding back Rory
-He never really knew what he wanted
-He didn’t share any intrests with Rory
What was wrong with Jess
-He was distant
-He was bad at communicating

Study Like a Gilmore!
Here are some tips to help you study like Rory Gilmore
1. Read often 2. Coffee is your best friend. 3. Switching up your study space regularly is a great idea: for example, the library, a park, in bed or a cafe. 4. Celebrate your good marks with junk food and friends, and complain about your bad marks with… junk food and friends. 5. It’s okay to stress out a bit. 6. Getting up early is important. 7. Set big goals for yourself and always aim high. 8. Studying with friends is awesome. 9. Being organized and being neat are two completely different things. 10. Handwriting beats typing. 11. Decorate your walls with revision and/or study inspiration. 12. Have a note-taking system that works for you (i.e. colour coding). 13. Test yourself and your friends. 14. Having some friendly competition is okay, but don’t let it get in the way of friendships. 15. Learning new words is fun. 16. Take a book with you everywhere (check out the Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge). 17. Sometimes your plans for the future change and that’s totally okay. 18. Challenge yourself in all that you do. 19. Everyone gets burnt out and needs to take time off. 20. Dedication and persistence is all you need.
Reposting this just Incase anybody missed it!
When you try a new book series.
How should I ensure that I don’t lose any of my skills over summer break?
That’s a GREAT question. We never really get to see what Rory does to maintain he intellectual balance, but we do know she took some summer courses and volunteered. I don’t know how many schools offer courses like that. I bet you could find some different things online, or get a summer work book. Even if you only use it occasionally it will still help!

Keeping Our Manners Is Always Important. Â Unless your reading, then they should just SHUT UP!!
When somebody misquotes a book, and everybody else knows its wrong.
