Index tabs!

They can really make studying easier. Setting up a color code for chapters, important charts or informations makes them easy to find - especially in huge books! I'm using a lot of them and had the opportunity to test many different ones. In the book, from the top: 1) Small index tab by Post-it. They come with their highlighters. These are a bit too small for some, but very handy! I will write on the Post-it highlighters soon. 2) Post-it index tab. Good quality, comes with small dispensers.  3 & 4 ) Stick'n index tabs. A copy of the above-mentioned tab by a taiwanese company called Stick'n. A lot cheaper, works good as well. 5 & 6) Some no-name brand. Very cheap, 1€ for 200 tabs of different colors.

7) Post-it large paper index tabs. Comes in a big package, doesn't leave any marks on the pages. Easy to write on, but not transparent!

Make your won post-it notes!

Post-it notes are an awesome thing. I use a lot of them; they make studying easier and offer a great way of taking notes while reading. In the following weeks I will share some tips on how to use them!

Today though, I'd like to show you how to make your own post-it notes. While they are very handy, they tend to be quite expensive! Non-sticky ones made by other companies are much cheaper. The trick is to buy a double-sided tape roller and use it to create the "glue" layer. Pick the cheapest tapes, as they tend to have a less adhesive glue that doesn't leave any marks on walls!
