I spent my entire life thinking tomatoes were spicy. Turns out, they’re not. I was 36 when I learned that I’m allergic to some kind of pollen that also triggers on raw tomatoes. :S

how is it already september? i probably say this every month, but this year’s really flown by. it’s unseasonably hot in the uk at the moment so this autumnal theme isn’t quite weather-appropriate yet, but it’s simple and i really love it, although it is quite similar to my november theme from last year.

in other news i started year 13 this week, which is absolutely terrifying! i’m actually really enjoying school at the moment (because it’s literally three days in and i don’t have that much work), it’s nice to have a routine and start learning again.

24.09.21 copenhagen is getting colder and I’m really loving my first fall here. Started writing again and joined some lessons to fill free time after work. Books? I finished ugly love by colleen hoover in one sitting and now I’m stuck with season 5 of Grey’s anatomy lol i also bought these violent delights by chloe gong which I’m excited to get into.

What are you reading at the moment?

My focus for my research project is on whether currently used platinum-based chemotherapies can induce immunogenic cell death of cancer cells. It’s also focusing on whether different histopathological differences in ovarian cancer subtypes change the results.

13/100 day of productivity

Oh what a heat, honestly. Lately it was so hot in here, that I was barely able to study - no wind, no AC and a lot of sweat.

Other than that, I'm speed running through a introductory cell biology course, since my exam is in two days, wish me luck. I have some time left, but well, the weather isn't doing my job any easier let me say. My only way out is huge amounts of green tea 🍵

Notes from my stats exam. I had four exams last week so I got a lot of studying done. And my girlfriend and I adopted two kittens over the weekend as well, so I've been busy helping Mochi and Nutmeg get used to us and their new home. I'm gonna have to rearrange my room to fit their cat tower and their bed, so I'll post pics of my study area once it's done. I have some cute ideas, especially for my bookshelf!
