i miss you.
i carry a lot of hurt in my heart but that will not stop me from growing and healing and becoming better than i have ever been
What do you guys do when you’re super behind and feeling an overwhelming amount of impending doom because I truly feel like I’m going to fail this whole course. :(
do you know what I want in life? A giant kitchen with lots of natural light, every utensil and appliance imaginable, and an endless supply of groceries....and also some sweet potato fries

How do you watch the richest man on Earth go to space for 10 minutes of his own amusement while using more CO2 than a billion people in a year instead of idk helping fight climate change or poverty and not immediately radicalize yourself
Hello please reblog this if you're okay with people sending you random asks to get to know you better
i'm priding myself in knowledge and academia; no more sidetracks. this is my story now.

zoomester study challenge | march 1-2, 2021;
day 1: introduce yourself! what’s some basic info you’d like to share about yourself? what are you studying?
hey there! i’ve been here for a while, but i’m lama. i am a third culture kid and currently a senior in my last semester of university in washington, dc. i am studying interdiscplinary studies in comm, law, economics, and governemnt, followed by two minors in computer science and information systems and technology. i am also in my uni’s honors program, so i love learning, reading, and doing research. but i also love indie music, sitcoms, and now? baking.
day 2: why did you decide on your major?
i have thought about changing my major several times. but because i am interested in the intersections of policy, law, and technology such as algorthimic bias (ai in policing), data privacy rights, digital advocacy and equality (digital divide), and cybersecurity… i thought it was great to understanding technology through my minors, but also on the policy level through my major. it’s so much work, but i am almost there!
11.20.17 I like to think that I’m more productive at cafes ~
Study study study!
13.12.20 / cleaned my stamps this morning. it seems like a very sunday kind of thing to do–quiet and meditative. i have to head out later today so i got all dressed up. hope your weekend is going well. you’re trying your best and that’s all that matters ♡
May 26th, 11:50 Quite a late start today, but it’s sunday and I definitely needed the extra sleep. Now I’m having some breakfast while I try to read on the influence of Japan on French art for my Contemporary Art exam that is coming up. Bonus: My cat staring into the void of existence.
11.02.21//100/100 days of productivity!!!
really lost my streak at the end there but i made it! i think i’ll try and keep up posting often because sharing what i’m doing (almost) every day has definitely made me study a lot more, and i’m gonna need to keep that up this semster. and yeah i finished my january spread halfway through february but again, better late than never :)
a habit of mine, that is both, a blessing and a curse is my need to get everything (that is in my control) done as early as possible. However, I find myself in situations like these, where I have an economics and finance lecture at ~8:30am every monday morning~ and I suddenly find myself regretting every decision ive ever made in my twenty years on earth x
i just got back from a four day trip to paris! (screech)
the first day, we walked around montmartre, and had the best springtime weather ever. paris is in bloom, and we had a blast. i took so many pictures, so more coming soon!!
now, sadly, back to reality and my books. it was so nice to have a much needed getaway though!
ORIENTATION DAY TOMORROW! :,)
(good luck to anyone else with orientation/university coming up! <3)
