how many minutes on & off is your pomodoro technique?
mine is very customized to my attention span and thinking.. the 25-5-25-5 never worked for me because 25 minutes is too short and i can still go for more than 25 minutes. i also can concentrate long-term and once i hit my break, that flow gets disrupted. so what i do is..
40 minutes
7 minutes short break (reply to a message in social media, check email or browse tumblr)
40 minutes
7 minutes short break
35 minutes
food break or any break for 20 minutes
sometimes.. i also just listen to my body. like if i notice it’s not yet 40 minutes and NOTHING is going in my mind, i take the 7 minutes break to reset.
but yeah, it really has worked for me. sometimes i can also study for more than 40 minutes especially when im so in the zone or if im in a middle of a multi-step problem that i have to finish it first before i take a break
Throwback to my first finals week that almost killed me but didn't

Hope that we would all do well! 😊
I have officially finished my first semester of optometry school....lemme rephrase that ~virtual~ optometry school (thanks covid)
And let me tell you, doing 19 hrs through zoom is for the fucking birds. 10/10 do not recommend. 10/10 not good for mental stability. 10/10 not good for ADHD
sometimes im haunted remembering that text post that went around in like november that was like “we had pandemics in 1820 and 1920 so we’re due for another one” like op are you okay what did you stumble on
