Alright look, listen, look...I'm glad P4 Revival has a release date, I'm glad it's looking like they're putting some decent effort into it, I'm glad P6 is revealed, the spooky neon green looks cool, etc etc...But WHERE is my PERSONA 5 ARENA?! Please Sega/Atlus don't make me give up hope, I neeeeed this. If it's cancelled just tell us so we can move on. I've had the idea for this image for like a year now, but after I saw Gitaroo Man show up in the Sony State of Play two days ago, I took it as a sign that now was the time to draw it. To those of you who will get to play it for the first time: enjoy it! You're in for quite a ride.

Ever since the Fire Force manga ended, I've slowly been reading the Soul Eater manga. I watched the Soul Eater anime a long time ago, but I knew the manga ending was different, and I wanted to find all the connections anyway. Well, I finished it, and then I rewatched the last episode of the Fire Force anime which ended recently, and man, that really hit me. There's so many cool Soul Eater character designs I want to make fan art of, and I wanted to make something to commemorate the Fire Force anime ending too, but for now I wanted to put some thoughts down about Soul Eater so SPOILERS FOR BOTH AFTER THE BREAK:
I like how Fire Force explained why the Moon was high up in the sky, and NOT in outer space (because Shinra stopped it when it was falling but didn't kick it back actually now that I think about it, it was definitely in outer space when Arthur fought on it, but still the reason is "cause Shinra"). Was this something that NEEDED explaining? No, but it's funny to realize it, and it's funny to think someone was wondering this the whole time.
Many people already pointed out the obvious lineages, but I find it funny to think Free is a descendant of Captain Obi since they look so similar.
I was really hoping Maka would pull out the ring her dad gave her, as I suspect it might be the same ring Arthur wore during his fight on the moon. But it's just never brought up. Might have been cool to give it to Crona too, to help him withstand his time on the moon.
Speaking of, I find it weird that Maka's mother never really showed up at all in the story. She's alive but seemingly doesn't care about her daughter's very dangerous line of work? I guess she really doesn't wanna be around Maka's dad after the divorce.
Ok did anyone else find it super weird that Tezca (the mirror weapon guy) went to confront Justin WITHOUT Enrique (his monkey meister)? Enrique is just gone for such a long stretch of the story and there's no explanation as to why he isn't going around with Tezca. Also, Tezca says he can track anyone he reflected, but never thinks to track Medusa even though I'm pretty sure he reflected her at one point.
Speaking of Medusa, why did I JUST HAPPEN to read the chapter "A simple story about killing people" ON MOTHER'S DAY OF ALL DAYS? 😭 Like bro. Medusa BOTTOM 5 fictional mother's of all time for sure.
When Death said "too bad I'll never Kid's smiling face again"....I felt that.
And lastly, did anyone else find the final Team Soul Resonance at the end of Soul Eater to be a bit underwhelming? They emphasized it so much earlier in the story when they were learning it, I thought main trio would get a major power up or new forms or fuse into 1 being or something.
So yeah, let me know if you've also gone back to Soul Eater after Fire Force and what you thought. Hopefully I can make more art soon.
Can't believe there's an official game out there where you can say Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star beat the crap out of famous football player Cristiano Ronaldo. Crazy timeline to be in.
Around December of last year, I played three game demos that I really liked. I figured I'd make some fanart of them, and by the time I did, one of the games had already released! And the other two are releasing next month in May 2026! Well one of the two is in early access, but still. Support these indie games! (I think they all qualify as 'indie', right?)
