Some good things to take away from yesterday: Eskild is still Eskild, just a wonderful guy. Jonas and Madhi are still alive and well and supporting their friend by literally fighting others off Isak. Evak is still the cutest, most supportive couple in this world. Isak is still wearing snapbacks. Even still has his denim jacket. Girl Chris is still a blessing. Eva is still making me question my sexuality.

Now as we go into this hiatus, let’s remember this.

i think today’s clip just makes me extra upset about tarjei / season three not winning. like, out of all the shit that’s happened this season, isak has been the one character who’s been completely honest, attempted to reach out to sana and include her, respectful of his boyfriend’s past, i could go on. it just feels like isak is the one character who went through something incredibly hard and has come out on the other side with nothing but love in his heart for other people. he’s making himself better. and he’s still so in character while doing all of that, he’s still isak. so many other characters are just falling back into their old mistakes and we’re forced to see their choices affect others negatively but not with him. and i don’t know how much of that is tarjei but i’m willing to bet that he’s played a big role in how his character chooses to respond to things. that’s important. he’s important.
