Oh right. About the Cowboy AU. Is still canon that Avocato and Gary met bc Avo thought he kidnapped Little Cato when in reality it was Little Cato who went to look for the famous Thunder Bandit to get the money of his bounty and didn't realized it was Gary or did you change that?

Truth be told, I completely forgot that was the case but I’m keeping it that way as Avocato isn’t one to aim for the big baddies unless it’s truly necessary- In this case he only goes after Gary because he thinks his son is in danger so it’s not for the money.

Gary, though, has no idea and isn’t too worried as not many recognize him at first glance…or second… or third- You get the picture. He wasn’t ever recognizeable since young as he has a babyish face and the poster show a scary ugly guy.

So Gary probably just hangs with the kid because it’s amusing to see a young teen look for him while he’s right there (plus Little Cato reminds him of himself when younger). Gary stays with Little Cato especially due to the boy involving with other outlaws and getting into dangerous situations in search for him.

Gary and Avocato do have many encounters though but Gary keeps getting away.
