“kid? i’m like 6 years older than you and i’d love to see you try.”
“yes, kid. i’m not messing around with you. i am one tough girl.”
“i still didn’t do anything. my dad did what he did because it was the right thing to do.”
“your dad did what he did to ruin my and my mother’s lives! i don’t care if you think he did it out of the kindness of his heart, he was a bandit! he’s still a bad person at the end of the day!”
“would you? because we can send you back there, we’re giving you a chance here. the isle is no place to grow up in,” she spoke, “you would not have beaten him up because then you would have gotten into a lot of trouble.”
“you honestly think that i would rather be here than the isle?’ she laughed stiffly. “my mom is there, all that i have ever known my whole life is there!”
“When I said people like you. I was referring to people whom think it’s okay to behave poorly by using threats against me. Nothing about your birthplace would I hold against you because I am an objective person and rely on only facts to draw my conclusions about people. Had you not come up to me demanding that you would take my lunch money, I would have not had to group you in that category.”
“oh, whatever. i don’t need a pity friendship with you and your big fancy words. just stay out of my trail, and i’ll stay out of yours?”
“Lunch money? Is that supposed to intimidate others?”
“it has certainly worked on the little gremlins running around this place.”
“Martial arts and self defense mechanisms use more than just the muscles in your legs. It depicts the use of your arms as well. I’m not sure why you think I care where you’re from. MY father is an FBI agent, and former Army Sniper. I know how to shoot with incredible accuracy and My mom has been able to take down criminals with her bare hands. It’s safe to say that you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover, although we come from different worlds, I too have grown up with a fair knowledge of how to fight people like you off.”
“people like me? you good guys think that everyone from the isle are all the same. maybe i just want to fit in, and i don’t know how! did you ever think of that? all of you are so concerned about how villain kids coming here will effect your lives? did you ever think about how it will effect ours?”
“How cute, you think fairies are frail. Well here’s a secret little girl, this fairy will kick your ass all the way back to where you belong. I have my mother’s temper, and I wouldn’t take that lightly if I were you.”
“i know fairies are frail. my mom used to keep one as a pet. you have your mother tinkerbell’s temper? wow, i’m so scared.”
elodie stood in front of the younger girl. “this has everything to do with me, you’re in my kingdom now,” she spoke, “i am trying to be an advocate for you and the other kids from the isle and you’re not helping me.”
“i’d rather be there than here in your perfect princess world!” she scoffed, shoving the child that she was previously tormenting away. “that kid is lucky you came when you did. because if you hadn’t, i would have beaten him up and stolen his money.”
“hey, what’d i ever do to you? besides, i bring a lunch from home, so i don’t have any money to give you.”
“what did you ever do to me? if it weren’t for your father stumbling upon my mother’s tower, then i wouldn’t even have to be at this stupid school right now!”
elodie could hear the young girl’s threats and immediately went to stop whatever was happening. “back away,” the princess sneered.
clarissa whipped her head around to be met with the infamous princess elodie. it was people like her that made her not want to come to auradon, but of course her mother insisted. “this has nothing to do with you. how about you go do your princess shit somewhere else.” she retorted.
“Listen, kid - I’m going to need you to lose the ‘tude. You’re not taking jackshit of mine.”
“you think that you’re tough and can fight me off? how cute. you’re a fairy, for god’s sake!”
“Now you’re the one conversing nonsense. I know three different types of martial arts and self defense. I also have extensive knowledge of the skeletal system so you might want to rethink trying to make an attempt for my lunch money. I know exactly where and how to break your bones, now try being nicer.”
“damn, girl. you must think you’re tough shit because you know how to kick someone three different ways. my mom is a freaking villain! i grew up around this stuff.”
“listen, kid. i really don’t have time for nonsense today, so either make your point or i’m taking your lunch money. is that clear enough for you?”
