“i’ve learned to curb my profanity around him, it’s taken time and a lot of weird alternatives but i’ve survived.” she said her hand placed on her chest as if she survived some tragic event. “well, it’s summer break so i’m free whenever. “ she added in a little wink. she honestly didn’t know if she was joking or not, more realistically she wasn’t. “nora rogers-stark future lawyer, part time porn star.” she teased, “no, i’m not porn star unfortunately I don’t have the ass for it.”

“What like ‘mother trucker’ and ‘fudge’? It’s totally unexpected with the whole lawyer thing.” He emphasised, eyebrows furrowed. “I somehow doubt that, but I think the lawyer path is better either way.”

I always forget about that, he’d definitely have a meltdown if he came over to my place; hell is minor in comparison.” He shook his head, a brief exhale from his nose that could be classed as a somewhat amused expression —only confirmed by the smirk on his lips. “Depends on the dates, I’d have to check my diary.” His tone jesting. “Now that I understand... well, not entirely, I don’t have siblings. But, you gotta protect the people that you love.” Peter responded, slight shrug to break the seriousness. “Besides, you’re actually a porn star then?” Head titled to one side in curiosity.

“Oh Jesus, yeah. I always forget that he still thinks it’s the forties; his innocence wouldn’t be able to cope with such information. Perhaps even the thought alone.” He practically grimaced at the mention. “He’s definitely a ‘buy an island for any occasion’ kinda guy, so I feel like that would probably be a justifiable reason. Taking anyone with you?” He inquired, his lips pressed into a firm line with an amused half-smile. “At least if you give them the ammunition, you’re in control. What’s the quote? Something like never forget what you are, if you wear it like armour, it can’t be used to hurt you.”

nora let out a shriek of laughter, “true, and a career i’d be good at” she teased. “i think i would be disowned or somehow put back up for adoption!” she said in between laughing. “i mean scandal used to run in the family, and isn’t it cool to bring things back into fashion now?”

Peter felt a grin developing on his face when hearing her laughter. “I probably wouldn’t tell your dad that. His Arc Reactor might explode even at the thought.” He pointed out, raising an eyebrow with his expression still intact. “Somehow I don’t think he would put you back up for adoption, maybe send you to a deserted island. The scandal might be good for the family profile, and if you think about it, this school could do with something to gossip about.”

She raised her eyebrows up at him, “i think if he named me any of those names i would have grown up to be a porn star, there is no way around it. those are just very porn starish names!”

“Right? The world is definitely missing out on Messiah.” He shook his head, offering a smile to the other. It was only when her eyebrows raised that his furrowed for a second, almost as a response. “Ah come on, I think that we all know they’re great names.” His response could have been serious, if it wasn’t for the laugh that he was attempting to hold back — a grin replacing it. “At least you’d have a solid career.”
