The temperature drops and the warm clothes come out, but even though you’re in the mountains, walking next to a frozen lake, a little secondhand delight will keep you toasty like a husky running.

L’Eroica primavera - we need not say anything else.
Throw back to styles of old, or adding a new twist to a classic? You decide. Looks like the mid-90′s are back in Northern Italy.
Skipping stones on lake Como, the best way to spend your Easter Sunday afternoon.
Italian style on the Italian slopes: Being cool is not a matter of wearing the most fashionable clothes, the best designer names or the most avant-guard threads, it is a mentality where by you can pull off any outfit if you are cool with what you're wearing!
The Mosel region of Germany and new year. Lots of fireworks and people of an older generation.
The golden years - the golden age:
Unfazed by the pace of modern life they watch the world rush by. The young seemingly lost in their own universe of time, appointments and speed. Even though their years are ticking down they have the experience and wisdom to be able to take a moment to sit and watch, or just take a stroll whilst chatting.

Street style photographer, the split second voyeur - Consumed by his phone conversation he did not spot us watching him from the other side of the square. Relaxed and feeling at him it chatted to whom ever was on the other end of the line, sheltering out of the heat of Palermo's afternoon sun. A chance sight on the steps of the local church, a swift click of the camera shutter capturing the moment, but also opening up endless questions, who was he, where did he work, who was he talking to?
The beige palate: the last days of summer before routine sets in again. She gazes out across the square. The bus stops. People pile on. They're more aggressive these days. Her eyes flicker. She's a little tired. The neighbours have been noisy recently. She should say something. They moved in one month ago. A fly buzzes around her feet. Her left ankle itches.

Few London designers have got it this right with jewellery.

Egmond’s legend: Marti ten Kate
Marti ten Kate: a three time winner of Egmond Halve Marathon, the Netherlands' largest half with a 7km stretch of sandy beach for its 17,000 competitors to cross.
This year the race have chosen the unmistakable Marti ten Kate as Egmond's legend, a man defined not only by his trademark sunglasses and moustache but by his distinctive running style and speed, which saw him victorious in 1983, 1988 and 1990.
Egmond Half Marathon is a race dear to our hearts. Falling around the middle of January, with the weather at its most unpredictable, it's a race for positions, not times.

A windswept race along the Dutch coastline pulled off with panache by Dennis Bruin, whose gritty determination, beard and cycling cap combination is a style aesthetic we'd like to emulate.
Oh, and the gold handlebars on his wikkit bike are pretty special too.
Sartorial Italy - is it something that comes with age? Is it something that the Italians are raised to know? Style is everywhere you look in Italian cities.

Having spent years wearing classic high-street spectacles, forever confronted (but not deterred) by the optician's blatant hesitation in selling androgynous frames, our delight in finding London's latest eye boutique CrossEyes still hasn't faded. Set up in 2009 by the incredibly cool Danish CEO Søren Møller, the firm's ethos of satisfying customers with the ultimate in hip frames, high quality lenses and decent prices is a hit across Scandinavia and now London too.
