It’s been over a year of living in Dubai now. I’m not gonna lie, its been so fucking difficult. I was layed off from 2 jobs which took me ages to find and I’ve had upwards of 20 interviews, none of which came of anything. I’m so done. I’ve started to equate Dubai with my failure and become super negative. Without going into major detail, I’ve pretty much hit rock bottom. Buuuut, while down there i had an epiphany. Like its been so freaking long since I worked, were obviously surviving financially - why don’t I just use this time to go for what I really want to do (and what was the ACTUAL plan before coming here). So I’m going to work towards a styling career. Obviously its been a while since schooling, so gotta take a refresher course and find some place or person to intern for. A little wary about interning at 30 years old, but there’s no time like the present! I’ve gotta do this for myself!

Those are the most beautiful strawberries I ever seen. I’ve reblogged them before, but I would be head over heels for a basket of strawberries like that.
