Jewellery from Jeulia – Review
Have you heard of Jeulia before?
I personally hadn't until a lovely woman contacted me asking if we would like to review their service, of course we took them up on this offer!
Summertime is romper time
I couldn't get through summer without them: rompers. I've never worn anything more comfortable than a light romper. They are super stylish and perfect for hot summer days.
No matter if you prefer a romper with a flowerish print or an elegant one - just stop by the next fashion store and you’ll find what you are looking for because rompers are a must-have for the summer!
The Power of MAKEUP!
Have you ever heard of Nikkie and her YouTube channel Nikkie Tutorials? On Wednesdays and Sundays, the beauty vlogger likes to share her makeup skills and knowledge with her 1,057,688 subscribers where she likes to give advice and tips. Recently, Nikkie has posted a different video compared to her others in which she is calling out the power of makeup. In this video she keeps one-half of her face without any makeup while she is applying some to the other half. While doing this she describes what she thinks that "makeup shaming" is, encourages her subscribers to simply do what they want and that there is no shame for putting on makeup at all. It is definitely a video worth watching!
Kiko Milano Make Up
Hey guys,
Sorry for the lack of posts on here but I am now back to blogging weekly! I was fortunate enough to be invited to Guildford last weekend with my lovely friend Andi and her family.
There is a makeup shop - Kiko Milano that her aunt had found and recommended that we try the products they sold.
I was intrigued and I love makeup and so I accepted the invitation; I had never been and wanted to know more about the makeup they sold.
As I entered I felt spoilt for choice and didn’t know what to look at first. I started with the lipsticks and I was looking for a rose pink lipstick and had looked in all the other make up ranges and couldn’t find one I liked.
There were so many ranges of lipsticks and ones in each different colours and shades that it made me look at each shades I wanted. The price was good for lipsticks too. We are taking lipsticks from £2:50 to £7.00 being the most expensive. I’m used to paying a little bit more for a nicer lipstick and my favourite MAC lippy is £15. But I was intrigued and as I picked up the first lipstick to test, it felt so smooth upon my skin that I wouldn’t even know that I was wearing it. The shades were amazing and I tried the different pinks till I found a shade I was happy with. I ended up buying two lipsticks that I liked the shade of.
The next item I took a look at was eyeliner. I wear eyeliner a lot and I need an eyeliner that is easy to apply and will stay put upon my lids. There was a selection of different brushes and different style to pencil, to a chunky pen to a finer brush. I prefer to use a finer brush as it’s easier for me to draw a line upon my lid and also I can do dramatic eyes or a simple more natural line to my eyelid. The eyeliner cost me £6:90 and I have been using it all week. I have had no problems with it and it hasn’t smudged or come off like some eyeliners do.
I then took a look at their nail polishes.
The nail polishes I had a look at were £2.50.
Not too badly priced and I thought why not. And again like the lipsticks they had different shades of each colour and I was instantly drawn. If I could I would have brought as many shades as I could but I stuck with a purple and a grey colour and when applied they dried very quickly and didn’t smudge easily.
It did begin to chip after a day or two but that’s what nail polishes do and after a week with the nail polish on I still have most of my nail painted. Just a few chips at the top of my nail.
All together I spent £25 which is one product in Benefit or more expensive make up ranges and I brought five products. I still prefer Benefit but for a first time buyer I quite like the products they produce and will probably go again and try out some other products.
I am especially taken with the lipsticks, they are quite moist and don’t leave your lips feeling sticky like some lipsticks do.

Flash tattoos are all you need!
I loved wearing them as a child and I thought they would have gone forever: temporary tattoos. But no, I'm not talking about normal ones. This summer temporary tattoos got an upgrade to so called flash tattoos. I'd say it's the trend of summer 2015 and if you see them it's clear why - they look amazing!
While normal temporary tattoos might be called childish, flash tattoos have something glamorous. They have a metallic look and if light shines on them they gleam like silver. So if you hate wearing jewelry this is the perfect alternative for you and it's also super easy to apply them. You can buy them online (f.e.: on flashtat.com) where you can choose from a great variety. But you can even find some tattoos at Brandy Melville already and I'm sure other clothing stores will follow this trend. Pretty often you can purchase several tattoo designs at once. And in order to apply them to your skin you just need to wet the piece of paper with your flash tattoo on a bit and voilà! A trendy flash tattoo shines from your skin too. No pain and no worries included as these tattoos won't stay forever like real ones do. Therefore, if you're not sure about getting a real tattoo yet just go ahead and try out flash tattoos. You won't (can't) regret it and it's definitely one of the best trends in summer 2015.

How to Conf3ss...
COSMOPOLITAN – “It’s the best concept we've ever seen in the shoe industry!” I have to confess: I'm in love with the idea of Conf3ss. It is a concept that might change the shoe industry forever. Wondering what Conf3ss is? Just read on, it'll be worth it... We all know a woman can never have enough shoes. Although we all already have a pair of high heels, sneakers or boots in our wardrobe, we still go shopping and buy new ones. I'm not even sure why but buying new shoes makes most women feel better somehow. Therefore we just enjoy calling a new pair of shoes ours. But there is one limit: the limit of our credit card. Yes, buying new shoes can be really expensive. That's where Conf3ss and its concept come into play. Conf3ss is an Australian based footwear company which invented an inventive, stylish, interchangeable strap hi-chic shoe system. This means you only have to buy one pair or shoes and can style them the way you want in order to match them with various outfits! But how does it work now? At the moment the Conf3ss range provides four styles of heels and flats and dozens of designer straps which you can add to your shoes to give them a totally new look. This means you'll never have to struggle with questions like "Which shoes am I going to pack in for my holidays?" again. The straps fit into every bag and are really comfortable with extra padded lining and therapeutic magnets for extra comfort.
What are you waiting for? The company is also planning to extend its line with new and stylish fabrics and a new series of pop up experiential stores will open soon. Plus Conf3ess is shipping worldwide now! So go ahead and get you a pair of shoes which you can style the way you want based on how you feel, your current outfit, etc. and save some money (which you could spend on other clothes then ;) ). For more information make sure to check out their website or head over to the company's pinterest.
Don't Worry, Be Happy!
Hey,
We have all been there, where we just can't be bothered to get up and do something we need to do. Or when we want to do something but you've been knocked down too many times, you just think that if you have another go, you'll just get knocked down again. I know I have been there too, a little too often for my liking. Sometimes it takes a while to get back up and it gets longer every time but the thing to remember is not to give up. You need to ask yourself these questions - If I give up what will I achieve? Will I look back in months to come and regret my decision? What will I gain from giving up?
It's easy to give up, to walk away from hard times and continue everyday like you never tried but as
Winston Churchill says -
' Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.'
Instead of looking at the negatives in life, why not try to find the positives. In situations, old relationships, fallout with friends - whatever the situation is for you, there have to be times that have made you smile, feel happy whatever the circumstances after. Life is too short to be unhappy.
I want to be a children's author and make children laugh but getting rejected by publishers or agency's isn't always easy, but I won't get anywhere if I don't try!
I have made a list of the things I do after situations that have made me feel unhappy or times where I have felt like giving up!
Listen happy upbeat music!
In my playlist I have the likes of Sam Smith, Bruno Mars, George Ezra and more.
Surround yourself with good friends and family
There is nothing like supportive friends and family who take your mind off things and encourage you to have another go!
Have a quotes wall!
I have a wall full of my favorite quotes so whenever I look at them I feel happy, uplifted. Must be positive quotes though!
Take a break
Do things to relax and take a break before trying again. Depending on the situation that you're in sometimes a break can make you revalue the situation and come back at it afresh!
Don't over think or worry and breath. . .
I worry about everything to what I haven't done, to work issues to blogging. If there is cause for worry, I do! But I find don't make it an issue to worry about in the first place. If you mess up you are only human not a robot. We do make mistakes we are not perfect!
Get out the house!
Whether its just to the park for a walk, a stroll along the beach to a quick pop into town. I get out the house to clear my head. The weather is looking up so perfect time to get out the house and stroll along the coast! Or pop into a cafe or coffee shop and have a cup of tea. (I am very much addicted to tea and finds that it solves all my problems!)
A cup of tea always helps!
Listen to yourself and don't beat yourself up.
Listen to what you want, what went wrong and don't beat yourself up about things. It's life, not everything goes the way we hoped, planned, dreamed.
Have a night out
For a meal, cinema, bowling, pub, clubbing, theater...whatever the idea is, take your closest friends and let your hair down and go completely crazy - It always helps!
These are a few things that I do when I'm down because of certain situations. For those of you who read this and are feeling down, I hope that they help! Don't Worry, Be Happy!

April Favourites! - Celin May
April is nearly over and this means it is time for my April favourites. This time I do have three items to share with you starting with my latest purchase: a crop top. Yes, I love wearing them! In spring and summer I usually combine them with high-waisted shorts or different types of skirts like skater skirts. In fall and winter I prefer wearing them with high-waist jeans as temperatures are simply to low. This crop top is definitely one of my favourites I own. Why? Because it is black, it is classy and I love its lace on the bottom which you can see in detail on the photos below.
"April, April der macht was er will!" - so goes a German saying which refers to the contrary weather conditions in April. And this year the saying was proofed 100% right. A white Easter day and temperatures under 0°C is not what you expect at this time of the year. Happily, it is warmer now which makes it possible me for me to wear my leather jacket. I'd say a leather jacket is simply a must-have. You can wear it nearly everywhere in combination with anything.
And my last favourite item of April are these sunglasses. As sun is gaining the upper hand again it's time to protect your eyes against sunlight. Therefore I love wearing my round-shaped sunglasses. Haven't found your favourite sunglasses yet? No need to worry! Online shops like Asos, Nasty Gal or Sheinside have a large choice in sunglasses. Just take some time, look through their assortment and I bet you'll find the perfect model.
New Look || Summer Sandals
Hey guys,
As the weather is changing and it's getting a lot hotter, I went on a little trip to Brighton and into the branch of New Look to look at some summer sandals. Here are the sandals I found and I liked the most out of the range of sandals that can be found in New Look.
These flip flops are £17.99
This is what they look like on. These sandals are very comfortable and nice to wear but I wasn't to sure on the pattern on them. As much as I like the colours of them, I just wasn't to sure on the actual make of them. I felt that they rub easily on my feet and leave me with blisters.
These sandals are £24.99
This is what they look like on. I was instantly attracted to these sandals as I entered the shoe department. Not only where they very eye catchy but where pretty as soon as I look a closer look. These sandals where in my final few to choose from and are very nice to wear. Would recommend taking a look at these.
These sandals are £24.99
This is what they look like on. I brought these sandals out of the sandals in this blog. Not only do I like the patterns on the material on them but also there are very comfortable and look with jeans, a summer dress or with leggings. There are also little gold jewellery bits that hang off the material which I loved when I tried them on.
These sandals are £22.99.
This is what they look like on. I wasn't entirely to sure on these. Again they were very eye catchy and very bright but maybe a bit too colourful for me. If you like the look of them I recommend taking a look, they were a nice fit and were comfy to walk around the store in.
These wedged flip flops are £9.99
This is what they look like on,. I wasn't keen on these and I didn't choose to try these on. My little sister insisted I try these on, she likes heels! These have a wedge heel and are nice and comfy and for £9.99 it's not to bad for price.
These sandals are £27.99
This is what they look like on. Again these where very eye catching and I liked the look of these. I liked the look of the different coloured gems on them and were very nice to wear. I thought for £27.99 they were a bit expensive for what they were but they very pretty and nice to wear.
These sandals are £17.99
This is what they look like on and I loved these sandals from first glance. Very comfortable and these were in my final choice to. I loved the blue gems and were very nice to wear. Would recommend these sandals!
So these are a few of the sandals I tried on in New Look. Would recommend having a look at their range of summer shoes because they do have a wide range of sandals to try on or buy.

There is no limit to what we can achieve!
Hey everyone,
I'm starting today's blog with a quote from Audrey Hepburn -
"Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'!"
I believe all things are possible but you have to make them possible.
It's no good sitting there and saying 'I really want to start a blog' or 'I want a job in the fashion industry' and then not acting upon it.
Only you have control over your life and only you can make things happen. If you have an idea and don't act upon it then it only stays an idea.
We all face difficulties when we aim to achieve something but it's the picking yourself up afterwards part that is hard. I know myself, it has felt easier to give up and let things carry on as they did before I had tried anything.
It would have saved me a lot of worrying but you can't worry over something that isn't worth worrying about in the first place. But I know myself and I would have regretted it so many years later.
You are able to do anything and I know sometimes we can have doubts but we won't know until we try new things. Sometimes the thought of change and new experiences can be daunting but we won't know unless me try.
I know that comfort zones are nice and comfy and when we have our nine till five jobs we get set into a routine and it gets hard to leave. But there are so many exciting things out there waiting to be seen, waiting to happen!
I'm not saying nine to five jobs are wrong, I work ten hours a day because I need money to live and also I like what I do but what i want to do takes hard work and dedication to get published.
I want to write and create picture books for children, the thought of a laugh from a child from my silly and wild imagination makes all the hard work I've put in so far worth it.
I have amazing friends that support me with my dreams and I with them.Three of my friends are all at university,
One is training to be a teacher, One is going into psychology and the other is going into video gaming designing and I know all three of them will succeed at what they do because they put so much hard work to achieve and they are all an inspiration to me.
That's one of the most important things I have found, find people who will support you with any of your decisions they might not agree with some of them but that's how you learn. I know I support all of my friends decisions whether or not I agree with them.
I can only advise them so much with my opinion but they know I will always be there for them no matter what. There s nothing worse than having people who don't care and are not supportive of all the things you want in your life.
My lovely friend Andi and I.
Claudia, myself and Mike.
We have so many opportunities in life, we are so lucky that we can do anything we want with our lives and to waste what time we have on this planet would be a shame.
There is no limit to what we can all achieve, that's what I've learnt. Dream big and live with no regrets. Do what you want not what what others want you to do.
"Never give up on what you really want to do. The person with big big dreams is more powerful than one with all the facts." - Albert Einstein

Skincare Routine
I'm forever trying out different skincare to try and suit my skin. I have combination skin - oily/dry. I get an oily forehead and I seem get dry skin everywhere else! I seem to get a lot of breakouts especially on my forehead but its recently calmed down since using the above!
Cleansers: I brought Clinique Take The Day Off cleanser a while ago now (as you can see by the bottle its well used!). At first I wasn't keen on it and I think its too harsh for an everyday cleanser but I feel this dissolves every single bit of your make-up and makes you skin feeling so clean! I use this every other day. - for all skin types
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel has been my favourite cleanser. I brought it in October last year and it has seemed to have worked wonders with my spots and oily skin. I feel this is too harsh to use everyday and if you have dry skin it can sometimes make them worse. I tend to change around daily between my cleansers. - for oily / sensitive skin
Toner: I've never been one to use a toner until I came across The Body Shop Tea Tree Facial Toner. As it was a toner to help with spot prone skin I thought it would be perfect for me. I just sweep this across my face and neck after cleansing and it helps to removing anything that the cleanser didn't and leaves your skin matt and shine free. I think this is helping with my blemished skin and I will definitely be re purchasing!
Moisturiser: This is what I need to improve on! I made a New Years resolution to moisturise more. I feel like I am doing it but I need a moisturiser that's made for my skin. At the moment I am using the Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Moisturiser morning and night. As my skin is quite dry in places I think I need to change it. I don't think this moisturiser is the best for my skin type.
Anti Blemish Treatment: After doing all of that and before bed I will use a anti blemish treatment. The one I am currently using is by La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo. I started using this last year and stopped, I have no idea why because I think its the best spot cream I have come across! Using this with the La Roche-Posay cleanser has helped a lot with my blemished skin.

Dress shopping with Kayleigh!
Hey,
It was my birthday last week and I went dress shopping as I wanted to find an new dress to hit the town in! I prefer to wear skater cut dresses to create a curve to my body. I have a lollipop shaped body so the dress types I should wear are either skater cut/fluted (dresses that pull the waist in and go out on the hip) or bodycon dresses (dresses that pull you in!). I'm not particularly keen on bodycon dresses as I can be a bit self conscious of my body.
I took a trip to New Look and I can be fussy when it comes to dresses, I chose a few that I liked the look of and thought I'd share them with you. All the dresses that are previewed bellow can be found in New Look.
The first dress I tried on was a black one.
This dress is £18
I wasn't too sure on this dress, I did like the style of the dress but the top was too high up for my liking. I also felt that this wasn't the type of dress that I wanted to wear out, it made me feel as if I was going to a funeral.
It was a good length and I did like the look of the dress when I saw it on the hanger.
This dress would be easy to add accessories to: I would add a nice pair of black heels.
The second dress I tried on was a black and white skater cut dress.
This dress is £22.99
As much as I liked the pattern on this dress, I found it was too big on me. I didn't feel comfortable as it felt too baggy. The length was okay and not too short. I also felt that that it wasn't meant for wearing on an evening out and so I declined! It would be easy to add accessories to. I would add black or gold jewellery with a kind of punk/rock feel and maybe add a waist belt to the middle. A nice pair of black heels too.
The third dress I tried on was a blue/ navy skater cut dress.
This dress is £20
I loved this dress from the moment I tried it on, it was comfy and didn't feel too tight on.
It wasn't too short and was the style that I felt comfortable wearing. Again the length wasn't too short and I didn't feel exposed.
The dress pulled my waist in and gave my body a curved look. I did buy this dress and this was the dress I chose to wear out in the evening. I added a pair of gold glittery heels and gold jewellery.
You could choose to add silver jewellery or pearls with nude or blue heels.
The last dress I tried on was another blue/navy dress.
This dress is £25
I loved this dress as it came in around the waist and had a nice lace pattern to it. The back was just a lace pattern revealing your back. I liked the cut on the front of the dress and I don't tend to wear dresses that have a v-neck cut to them.
I did buy it but unfortunately the zip was faulty so I returned it. I was gutted as I really did like the dress and was probably my favourite out of all of the dresses I tried on. I would have added gold jewellery but silver or pearls would have gone fine with either blue, gold or nude heels.
I chose New Look out of all the high street fashion shops as I prefer their clothes and also they are affordable. Although I did have trouble with the zip, I have been credited by the store so will be able to buy other outfits!

The Fragrance of Spring
It's finally spring: flowers are growing, nature is blooming all around us and we are all just about to get the so-called spring fever. And what else could emphasize this spring awakening than a fresh and sweet-smelling fragrance? Luckily, Marc Jacobs has just released his spring 2015 limited edition Daisy Marc Jacobs Sorbet. I just got it as a little easter present and I have to admit: it's amazing! I've always been a fan of his fragrances. Nevertheless, this new perfume has really bewitched me. I love sweet fragrances but this one has a fresh scent too which makes it all so extraordinary. Can't imagine that? Well, then better go to the store and try it out on your own. But remember, it's a limited edition so you should better go there as soon as possible or you'll miss it.
