A Cat, a Christmas Jumper and a Cup of Coffee.

Today was pretty uneventful and cold. Winter in England is one of those things- every year the same thing happens. We cling on to the summer for as long as we possibly can, a time promising holidays, summer dresses, and picnics on the common with the marginally warmer weather; we enter Autumn in denial until it just gets too cold and we start our complaints of the inevitable cold winter. However, drummed into me as a child were the words 'there's no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing'. That's why Autumn is one of my favourite months. All the layers come out of hibernation: the knitwear, the furs, the feathers, the coats, the cardigans, the tights, the scarves and the snoods and best of all the Christmas jumpers. The different patterns and materials make everything so much more interesting, and so much more fun when I wake up in the morning and get to create a look to embrace for the day. Without a doubt, Autumn/Winter sees, for me, the most exciting of clothing ranges. So in my excitement, I decided that I could put the cold aside and do something productive. 

I've been meaning to start a fashion blog for a while. I've done bits and pieces but it's been according to my usual non-organised way. So I'm going to aim to just put everything on this page from now on (as is a trend I've found with blogs...)

So here I am now, snuggled in a Christmas jumper with a cat and with a (now empty) cup of coffee, creating it. I hope anyone reading this unnecessarily ramble-y hello might find something they find interesting or enjoy in time to come :)
