I’ll never understand writers who don’t care about punctuation. It adds control, clarity, meaning, and variety.

Sage was, as usual, reading the next day when he heard a knock on the door.
“Hey, Sage. I know we just met yesterday at the Bluffs, but...do you want to hang out?”
Being the loner bookworm he is, Sage eyed his book a bit mournfully as he invited Jade inside. She’d seemed nice yesterday, though, so maybe the time away from his book would be well-spent in this case....even if he was right in the middle of the good part.
“You got me all wet with that cannonball, you know.” Yuki pouted.
Archer splashed her playfully. “Hey, it got you into the water, didn’t it? Mission accomplished.”
Yuki splashed back. “Jerk,” she said, but she was laughing.
That’s a no on the back flip. But he managed a pretty good cannonball!
“Do you think your brother can do a back flip, Sage?”
“If a back flip looks like a belly flop, then yes.”
The boys got invited to a party at the bluffs.
It happened to also be Cass’s birthday, so she got a cake, too! Looking beautiful as ever.
They grew up handsomly!
Birthday time for the boys!
Pre-birthday selfies!
When you have nothing better to do on a Saturday than to run outside to watch someone die across the street. :/
And that last bout of cloudgazing did it!
Rory was surprised to find out how different it was to play the violin when you’re used to a guitar.
These boys <3
Also, Archer randomly came home from school in a beanie that’s not his. That’s how you get lice, Archer! ><
Archer joined a club! He was invited into the Avant Gardes, and it’s been great for his homework and networking.
The boys were invited to Jorden’s birthday party!
