Just immensely enjoying nature in spring. Finally managed to find time to go out with my camera again and found this cute chiffchaff :)

Today I woke up, opened the blinds, and to my surprise saw that it had snowed a little. Now immediately I thought "I need to try and get a shot of a fox in the snow!", but I've already been out shooting yesterday so I was hesitant, weighed my options and what needed to be done today and ended up going out (of course). Surely even without a fox it would be possible to get a nice shot or two.

At first I could only see tracks in the snow, quite a few mind you, but no fox to be seen anywhere.

I almost gave up and ended up just going along the fields when I saw a tiny blob in the distance. The other times it turned out to be a bucket, a stone and a goose... But not this time! A single fox hunting in the snow! I was super far away and getting a nice shot was difficult, but I still took loads while I was just happily watching :3

Got a new lens for Christmas (well paid most myself, but still, gift to myself!) and only went out once for a bit. It's super cool and I want to go out properly again soon, but I'm not used to it being so heavy oof... Gotta get a proper strap!

This is from last year, I'm still waiting for the great egrets to come back for winter. It's nice to see them mingling with the grey herons :]

At first we were running around the beach not seeing any seals, then in the evening more and more came out of the water :3
