Hey so, are you familiar with the whole Gravity Falls Monster AU? I was wondering because if Steven ever existed in that AU, I'd always imagine him as a Nephilim (A Half-Angel, Half-Human) since Pink/Rose came technically came from the heavens. Thoughts?

oooooh LOVE that tbh. the monster au is where Dipper gets turned into a deer centaur, Mabels a mermaid, and Stans a gargoyle right?

there's definitely a lot of heavenly and perfectionist symbolism to be found in SU so yeah i think that tracks. Steven would probably really hate it though (just one more weird thing to make him different to everyone else)

there are lots of different variations of the SU x GF crossover so I wanted to share my own headcanons! (which apply to all of the comics I’ve made)

General:

It takes place post-SUF and post-GF (no Bill stuff, sorry guys lol)

Steven crosses paths with Stan and Ford while he was still on the east coast, sometime in the late winter/early spring

maybe they invite him onto their boat for a chat and some cocoa idk

Stan gave Steven his beanie (which is why I’ve been drawing Steven wearing a beanie)

They suggested he visit the Mystery Shack in Gravity Falls whenever he’s in the area. Stan and Ford would there in the summer for Dipper and Mabel’s birthday, so they hopefully meet again if the timing was right (and it is)

I think that Mabel would definitely have a crush on Steven the first week until she starts seeing him as an older brother 

I also have a headcanon that people assume Steven is gay bc kid-raised-by-genderless-lesbian-aliens-doesnt-get-genderroles and the small town of gravity falls doesn’t quite know what to think of it
