Ok so! Are they still gems like in SU, where they come out of the ground fully developed? Or did they grow up with parents and stuff? Are there any fusions planned out? (If fusion is even a thing, since it's the Ninjago universe?) Is there any full body concept art? Did Vonvon go to Darkley's? (Also, Vonvon!! They babey) Do peridot and bismuth have roles? Or any of Steven's human friends like Lars and Sadie?

okay so I'm going to answer your questions in order cuz oh boy there is a lot-

The gems are human in this, everyone is human and or whatever race the characters are replacing (IE if a gem from su was replacing an Oni in Ninjago, they would be an oni)

We don't have any fusions planed out, this is still just an au for fun and concepts (there will be MANY plot holes) We don't have full body concept art because some of the artists like to draw the characters different ways with different armour/gi. We are having it so Connie took Vonvon with them on their research quest, or at least visited the school a lot. We don't want Connie to be the abandoning mother Misako was  Peridot is going to be taking the role of  Dr. Julien for now [unless we come up with something else] We don't have anything planned for Bismuth yet [tho rn I just thought of them as Karloff because of the skills with metal and forges so that might be a good idea]

We don't have any role for Sadie and lars yet either so yea.

Do you know what’s funny? I’m doing the exact opposite of this AU. I’m having the Ninjago characters act out the plot of SU. It’s really cool to see what you’ve done. Keep it up! (your artwork is fantastic)

I'm so happy this exists I love ninjago and steven universe so much!! I have a bunch of questions, should I ask them in individual asks? Or all together in one ask?

I say ask them in groups! Too many individuals asks might spam the blog, and having them in one will ruin the chance for other mods to jump in to answer! This is a shared blog after all~ And hey, good to hear! We love Ninjago and SU too! Though as much as we love Ninjago, most of the mods haven’t watched season 10+ so please keep that in mind and try to make the asks spoiler-free of those seasons! -Mod Lolo

I kinda want to know the role rose plays? I’m assuming it’s the same as ninjago as the master that taught the sensei and garmadon.

we are thinking its either rose or pink diamond who was the First spinjitsu master. 

Pink Diamond being the person who was from the first realm and fought with the dragon and oni, 

then once they ran away to create Ninjago they took the name Rose.
