What Inktober would be complete without atleast one LOTR piece. I definitely learnt some things about how ink works with this piece - but I love how it looks all framed up and ready to go!!!

I've decided to chill out during Inktober and only do as many as I can fit into the month and really enjoy them. So of course I gotta draw that bad boy Sauron B)

I did it. Oh my god. I actually finished it. *dies*

Rotoscoping. 971 frames. My hands are ded. 

Based off Sauron’s numerous exploits during the First and Second Age. I’ve been wanting to animate some of this stuff since i read the Silmarillion. Put in some of my fav bits (deflecting lightning off the temple of Numenor like a boss). Also some of my fav FA elves (Finrod, Gil-Galad, Celebrimbor), Elrond (bless his cotton socks) and Beren the Manly Man. 

Also influenced by Phob’s Sauron and her Silmarillion art, which is amazing.

And i may or may not have imagined Sauron’s ‘fair form’ as a hot piece of elvish ass
