Promised Vodka || Dasha & Avery
Avery nodded some, “Of course they do,” he told her “But you know ‘MERICA” he said laughing at his own joke. He then nodded, “I think everyone does – even American’s” he said to her matter of factly.
He nodded as he walked with her. “China – visit that great wall.” he told her with a chuckle. His wife might of said something like dance across it but he tired to shake that from his head. “They do” he agreed.
He glanced at her, “I saw a documentry once where they were in Saberia. They were called that in there, least I’m pretty sure. Kids were running naked in the cold. “ he told her “I’d hope not those things look cold” he told her with a smile. “You didn’t get out much, what they lock you up?”
“Sure, everyone does. I was just trying to make sure I didn’t sound rude.” Dasha laughed lightly. “But American tourists are always an ...interesting experience. They are taught manners, right?”
She shrugged lightly and put her hands in her pockets. “The great wall, the Forbidden City, the towns in general. The whole place seems as if it’s filled with magic.” Her thoughts wandered to all the pictures of cities she wanted to visit, that her mother said she had visited before being stuck with her.
“Maybe they just couldn’t find the best word for it. Or I am mistaken.” It wouldn’t have been the first time she had understood English incorrectly. “Igloos actually have a hole in the top so you can have a fire, and it keeps them quite warm. The ice acts as an insulator.”
“No, not locked up per say. My mother wanted me to be a mini version of her, so she kept me practising most of my free time.”
