đđ Happy Mothers Day! đđ
Whatever the day brings, enjoy it, ladies! You earn it every single day đ
âOk, I have one more.â
Sigourney Weaver for The NYTimes Style Magazine
Hello I am new to the lifestyle and found a lot intriguing stuff in your conversations...Let me know it is ok to get perspectives with who and what I come across. I found a ton situations that I was not sure how to respond to.
Absolutely! I'm currently building a new business, so I'm not around very often, but I try to check in a couple times a week. If you have specific questions or scenarios, feel free to run them by me. I'll give as much of myself as I can, but I'm happy to post the questions for others to comment on, as well.
Itâs awesome seeing your posts back on my page. Youâve always been one of my favorites to follow and I always look forward to seeing your posts. Hopefully you will be able to come back around a little more often!! âïžâïžâïž
Hey, friend! Nice seeing you in my (wait for it...) box đ Things are crazy busy, but yes, I'm planning to slow my face a little more!
I've read your stuff off and on for years, and while I agree with most of what you say, it's sometimes hard to stomach because everything seems gender specific. Like it's a man's job to do this and a woman's job to do this. Maybe consider using gender neutral language so trans and binary folks and those not in heteronormative relationships can relate better?
Absolutely not. That will never happen; I would close up shop before I allowed a trending movement to coerce my language.
I write from my perspective, and I'm not speaking to everyone. What I say and write lands where it needs to land. Everything doesn't have to be for everyone. I firmly believe part of the reason this blog grew such a large following is because most people seeking this type of content can relate, at least in part, to what I share. Most folks have the cognitive ability to take information and advice and parse out what's relevant to them.
Bottom line: This is my blog and I write for those who relate to or are interested in a male dominant/female submissive dynamic. This new trend of blanket inclusivity can fuck straight off a cliff.
I'll say it, idgaf.
I miss Craigslist Personals.
Advice to fellow tradfems
There are bad men that will prey on you in this community. They think that because you like traditional gender roles, or aspire to be a stay-at-home mother that you will be easy to push around and manipulate. These men will seem charming at first because they are saying what they know you want to hear. Learn the red flags. Memorize them. Always trust your gut. And never, EVER settle for someone because they convince you that you canât do better.
My belt. Your ass.
Itâs a date.
âWill today be the day you learn to listen? Letâs seeâŠâ
Down.
The first time he comes over, when he smiles and caresses your cheekâŠ
âŠthen grabs you by the hair, pushes you to (and almost through) the floor, one boot against the back of your neck, saying, âArms out, legs open⊠Now. This is education, not punishment. You havenât done anything wrong. When I say âdown,â this is down. You get down. I never want to have to put you in this position again. And trust me, you donât want me to put you in this position. Are we clear?â
That.
Scale
âYour wall is so high,â he said, âHas anyone made it over?â
âNo,â she replied, remembering the ones who had tried. She kicked off her shoes and clenched the grass with her toes. Monkey toes he always said. She laughed and closed her eyes.
âI think I may know why,â he said thoughtfully. âThey tried to break through. They used their dominance like a battering ram and attempted to crush the stones to clear a path inside.â
âA few came close,â she said. âI thought theyâd made it in.â
âBut they didnât know their science. Itâs simple geology, really,â he explained. âThe stones cannot be crushed.â She opened her eyes and looked at him warily, curious.
âStones are comprised of experiences. Each one a memory, unique in its own right. But over time they interlock.â He pulled her close, laced his fingers through hers. âGravity insists upon it.
âTheir collective strength cannot be demolished,â he went on. âSure, it can be chipped at. But one man alone cannot make it fall.â
âSo Iâm doomed,â she lamented with an exaggerated sigh. âForever imprisoned by years of bad decisions. Until you, my brave knight, wield the mightiest weapon of all!â
âSilly girl,â he smiled. âDo you see a hammer in my hand? A sword?â A flash of confusion crossed her face. âIâm not breaking down anything.â
He stood and pulled her to her feet. âIâm not even going to try.â
The lump came quickly and lodged firmly in her throat. He didnât even want to try. She slipped on her shoes, head down. Her nose stung with the threat of tears.
âI understand,â she said. âAnd honestly, I canât say I blame you.â
He looked at her, paused. Waited until she raised her eyes to his.
âI donât think you do,â he said. âUnderstand, that is. I have no plans to demolish. Iâm simply going to gather.â
âGather?â she asked, confused. âI donât know what that means.â
Again he took her hands in his, lightly tracing the soft pads of her fingertips. âLook at your wall. There are crevices between the stones. Do you see the flowers? Thousands of flowers, every color you can imagine. Itâs quite beautiful, really.
âIâm going to gather the flowers. I will find toeholds where I can, and where there are none I will reach to you for a hand.â
Her breath caught; she didnât say a word. She watched his fingers trace the blue on the back of her hand. âBut I need to know,â he went on.
âWill you pull me up?â
