Affordable Housing Scheme Delhi
Under the Housing for All Mission Scheme of the Modi Government, you can buy your house cheaper from 5 to 6 lakh rupees. This Affordable Housing scheme Delhi was launched in 2015. After the ban, after making amendments to this scheme, it has become cheaper to buy a house for you. Several announcements have also been made in the general budget regarding this scheme, making it easier for you to buy a house.
What is Delhi Housing scheme
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Delhi Housing Scheme on 25th June 2015 under the Housing for Mission till 2022. There are four components of this scheme. First- Apartments in place of slum settlements, flats will be given to people living here in the slum. The cheap house, through the subsidy attached to the second credit, will be the flats of EWS and LIG category, in which the subsidiary will be given to the buyer.
In the cheap house under the third PPP, developers will be asked to make 35 percent affordable houses and developers will get central assistance. Fourth subsidy on the construction of your home. If annual income is Rs 3 lakh (25 thousand months) then you can apply for EWS category. If your income is 5 lakh rupees (50 thousand months) annually, then you can apply for LIG category.
Delhi Housing scheme Flat size
In EWS you will get 30 square meters (approximately 323 square feet) flat under Delhi Awas Yojna. If you apply for LIG then you will get 60 square meters (645 sq ft) flat. After the budget is implemented, you will get this flat carpet area accordingly. That is, you will be in a flat with a 645 square foot carpet area. Keep in mind that Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will have the count of Affordable Housing Delhi with the Carpet Area instead of the built up area, which will increase the size of the cheap house by almost 30%.
