Follow the Yellow Brick Road
There was silence after Gamzee spoke. It was like… Jade (and her mun) needed a nice little moment to gather in the severity of his mystical and nonchalant words. He was… very odd, but he wasn’t screaming at her and calling her an idiot like Karkat. That was always good!
“Oh, he is huh!!” Jade exclaimed. They were getting somewhere.
This was good.
The all powerful dog tier facepalmed as Gamzee had no clue who she was. Peaking through her fingers past her glasses, she still smiled a bit weakly. “Okay, no problem. I didn’t like to talk about him too much either…. he was always yelling…”
But she didn’t want to insult him. Karkat turned out to be quite the good guy — err, troll, after all!
“Did any of your friends make it here too???” She questioned, unsure of the trolls fate during her little transition here…
No rush, Gamzee wasn't going anywhere soon. This was a good spot to be enjoying his pie (sup Jasmine). Misunderstanding things was a common denominator here — noooo pressure. Her sudden excitement kinda startled him for a split second, but at least that meant his attention regained focus. At least it was a good sort of excitement, this human must have really liked Karkat. Maybe she was even flush for him...
He was a good troll, and as surprising as this whole thing was, he'd probably just accept that and wish his bestie the best of luck. All those thoughts were dashed as quickly as they found a place in his mind. Apparently she wasn't all that down with him. "Can't really be all about blaming him, he just needs to be seeing more miracles and kick the motherfucking elixer, a chill place would be happening."
"Hell yeah! Everybody's gone with coming and shit." Because sessions worked that way, usually. He might have namedropped John here, but he wasn't sure how much or little impact it would have on her. There were a lot of humans and they all must have been friends. Beautiful.
