Funk master Shook just announced an upcoming single and uploaded a remix he made a few months ago to accompany his notification. The original, Hype, is a very nice and energetic song by spanish duo Fuel Fandango acknowledged for the singer’s vocal skills and its various inspirations (from flamenco to electro). This then seemed to be a suitable song for a Shook remix.
As usual, Shook’s instrumental only intend to serve the vocal part in order to create a complete track, smooth and funky. We greatly appreciate the sweet bass line and the wandering of the melody carrying the vocals throughout the track. It’s an absolute delight. We can only admire Shook’s ability to reinvent a track from a smooth and funky point of view as well as his ability to reinvent his art as we never grow tired of his remixes.
