To put it very bluntly.
You will always make a better impact helping people who need it than trying to hurt people you think deserve it.

i am feeling particularly human today. it hurts. it's growing pain i think. it's so silly. tears as i'm writing, but it's kinda funny. i have to start taking myself less seriously.
i’m doing really well for someone who goes through the five stages of grief every day

Budget gift ideas
Gift cards: Thrift store, second-hand vinyl record store, book store. Endless options, you can find really unique editions/items, you don't have to stress over picking the right thing. You can even go together!
Photoshoot: Plan a few outfits/themes/locations and be a photographer for your person. There are many resources online to learn how to take and edit cool pictures on a budget. This one is a really fun way to spend quality time together.
Photo album/memory book: Collect little items that remind you of them (movie tickets, receipts, quotes), and add them to an album alongside your favourite photos. Printing on photo paper is usually pretty affordable. Tip for students: sometimes they have discounts, remember to ask!
Burn a mixtape: Create a playlist and download the songs, then burn a CD. You can find blank ones for cheap, same with CD writers. Alternatively, check if your local library can burn it for you (mine does)! Bonus: Make a DIY sleeve for it (find tutorials online).
USB with media they enjoy: Look into the wonders of Torrenting. This one, aside from the USB, is free.
Bake a treat/Cook a meal: We all love a homemade treat without the mess of dishes afterwards. Make sure to ask about allergies and other dietary restrictions, though!
Recipe book: Do they like cooking? Compile a handwritten/custom book of recipes you think they'll love! Make it cute, add jokes, stickers, notes on the margins. Tip: Look for journals in second-hand stores, you'll be surprised at how many unused ones you'll find.
Do add more!
