Oh! Hello Anita!

But as for the cello, it’s quite a long story. Shortened version is that I was in an accident that makes it painful to play for longer than a few minutes at a time.

Then let me tell you - I have a friend in Massachusetts.  Guitar was his life until he had an accident with a helicopter and it took off his finger.  Took it off completely.  They put it back on, it still doesn't bend or work, but he worked his other nine fingers to the bone and is now one of the most amazing classical guitarists you will ever hear.  His playing will bring you to tears.  There's only one other musician that could ever do that to me.

We might not all get the 'magic' ending but who says you couldn't be one of the lucky ones?

I have my moments.

Oh Anita. That’s actually one of the kindest things you can say. Most people get angry at me for it. Honestly, I’m not though. I always try to put my best foot forward and when I can’t, I don’t put myself out there at all. The world’s so dark and angry all the time and I hate contributing to that. If I can put a smile on someone else’s face or make their day better by something I can say or do, then life’s pretty great.

What a ridiculous thing to get angry at someone for.  'Oh no, that person isn't fucking miserable - I must try and make them hate life.'

I believe that people that think that way are as shallow and narrow-minded as the ones they are complaining about.  We all see the world in different ways, a positive outlook is no less realistic than a negative one.
