Reclamation - June 20, 2026
Fifteen, but only a child.
I see her innocence reflecting mine
beneath the baby pink and white lace
bra she hid from her parents.
Bought to fulfill a desire,
A desire that was not her own.
Thinly veiled, their intentions befall us.
Our responsibility to avoid;
our responsibility to entertain;
our responsibility to accept.
The very thing we were meant to escape
reclaims us.
