Can somebody hire me to do night shifts at a museum? I’ll bring my own dinner that I made the morning of and my favourite book. today my mom and i met a colobus monkey at the zoo who posed for pictures and then my mom held out her phone to show him the pictures of himself. he was looking at the phone screen for like a full minute i wish i could like understand what was going on in his head

My alma mater (Fordham University — that’s right, I’m putting them on full blast) has kicked a student off campus and suspended him for posting two photos to his Instagram: one of him holding a rifle (with proper TD and no indication or threat of violence) and one of him expressing his sympathies to black police officer David Dorn. His ultimate goal was to express his love for the United States.

Fordham, I am so disappointed in you. You’re not just any university, you’re a JESUIT university. The Jesuits prided themselves on their high quality education and rigorous philosophical and theological dialogue. Now you are acting more in line with a communist government.

It’s upsetting to see how many of the comments are nasty and calling him privileged. The guy came from China, a country known for its lack of human rights and rigorous censorship. Don’t start about privilege. Now, Fordham is acting no different from China in terms of censorship and punishing dissenting opinion. It was bad when I was at Fordham, but it’s gotten worse. I’m so glad I stayed in my lane at school because if I hadn’t, who knows what consequences I would’ve faced. But I give my props to this guy for being courageous and unapologetic.

He is now starting a gofundme campaign to sue Fordham University and he has my utmost support. If you guys would like to support him too, let me know. Here’s what he said in a letter to the school:
