Carrie nodded and stifled a yawn, “Yeah, hopefully.” She would suggest them talking to Batman face-to-face, but if his Bruce was anything like hers, he might not be too happy to hear about how she got universe-displaced. And he definitely wouldn’t trust her. Besides, if he wasn’t going to believe her over the phone, going up to him might just make things worse. She was tired and she wasn’t ready to go through the pain of trying to get him to believe her, at least not right then. She just needed to find a place to sleep.

Robin eyed her carefully wondering if that was a tired yawn from all the excitement or if her body was feeling off from being thrown into another dimension. He was going to hope that it was mere fatigue and nothing worse. No need for both of them to worry. They had other things to think about right now. “Do you think you can familiarize yourself with this Gotham?” Just how different were their two worlds? Would she be at too much of a disadvantage in a new world?

“That sounds…nice,” she closed her eyes and leaned back in the bed at that. “Fake.” She had never heard that people were any different than Hugo; in fact, she’d only heard they were worse. This was all great and all, but it was hard to believe to say the least.

“There are nice people out there believe me,” Peter replied trying to help her keep hope. “I know it might be hard to believe now but there is.” With any luck she would be able to see that once she got out of the hospital.

“Maybe…” If there were, she hadn’t met them, and she didn’t know if she could fully trust Robin. Sure, he had helped her, but he could have been doing it for any reason, possibly for his own gain she thought. “Okay…Thank you…”

Peter having no idea what she was thinking simply smiled. Hopefully she would trust not only him but others as well. Maybe then she would be able to have a happy peaceful life. “You should take it easy,” he suggested not wanting her to overdo things. “that way you can feel up faster.”
