it gives us great sadness to have to do this but after discussing everything and taking the ideas given to us from people into account, we have decided to close SUCKER. The other mods and I just feel like sucker has ran it’s course and come to an end. it’s time to say goodbye and let it go. We thank each and every one of you who have been here during the course of the 8 months since the group officially opened.It’s been a lovely little place and i’m proud of all that we accomplished in the time we were open even if we remained to be a smaller group. All of you are more than welcome to continue using our dash until you are able to find yourself a new home. Good luck in your future groups.

So I’m a little confused. I tried to offer suggestions, and I know you posted them but I feel like you didn’t really respond to them at all? You said you tried everything? The gossip mods tried everything? In my time here I’ve seen very little from the gossip mods. My suggestion of a tabloid or possible rumors was completely ignored. Idk if you’re getting more suggestions but the way you responded to mine makes it seem like you guys have already given up, and I really don’t want to believe that

1/2 Maybe allow some leeway with a slow dash before closing, on account of the holidays and finals approaching. As for ideas, maybe a bit of a revamp? Events, maybe more of a tabloid gossip blog (if that’s possible on the gossip mod’s end), maybe gossip mods spreading rumors about characters, that could spice things up! (Writers could opt in/out based on comfort)

2/2 I think my main thing is that we don’t get enough from the gossip blog. I understand that a gossip blog can only work with what they’re getting from side blogs, and I know I keep mine updated, but I personally feel like the gossip blog just isn’t that fun to interact with. I hope this is helpful.

as of lately, we let hiatuses go on for weeks and some into months, we were very lenient on them because we understood why people needed them but we also gave those people who were gone for a while 24 hours to post / let us know they were back and none really did so. we have done events, our gossip mods have done several games and things to make it more active but no one participated and no one made their sideblogs active (aside from the few that did). we did everything we could possibly can to get activity up, get people to join and everything in between to get people into what we’re doing or evern getting people to join. we’re at a true loss of what to do to help activity. we’re trying but we also need help to be able to full strive. we’re not making it seem like it’s anyone person’s fault. If you or really anyone has other suggestions for us such as games, ways to make everything more lively or just general thoughts or concerns, please message us! we’re here for you and anything that you want to throw at us. come off anon or to our instant messages with them! 

we as mods love you all so much, we just want to be somewhere you can call home.

good afternoon angels. i didn't want to have to make this post but i feel like it's time that i address this. activity levels have been so low around here lately especially with lots of people on hiatus and it being holiday season but the dash has been going long hours without moving and has been really slow for a while now. the other mods and i have been talking and the last thing we want to do is to have to close this group which we fear it may end up getting to that stage. we also feel like sucker has become a place for people just to house ships too and that makes me so sad because i had hopes that this group would slowly grow and flourish and while it did for a short while it's been dying down again and we havent really gotten too much interest. if anyone has any suggestions for us on what they think might help with the activity then please feel free to let us know because we feel like we have exhausted all the ideas that we have and we are unsure now of what to do. member co-operation is key to helping keep this group from closing because us mods can only do so much. thank you!
