⌜ ning yizhou, cisfemale, she/her, ⌟ welcome back to hogwarts, SUE LI ! according to your file, you’re a TWENTY-FOUR year old HALF BLOOD as i’m sure you remember, last spring had its challenges, but i’m confident you’ll take your studies more seriously this year. as a SIXTH year SLYTHERIN, focusing on SPELLCASTING, you’ve got a lot on your plate. our records show that you're CONFIDENT and ALLURING however, they seem to have left off that you're VENDICTIVE and MULISH. if i’m correct, you’re siding with THE DARK , which makes sense considering you’re known around the castle for the scent of burning rose petals in a sweet oak fire, red lipstick writing on the bathroom mirror, the feeling of ruby nails gently grazing your back as you inhale seductive perfume. let’s hope you make it through the year in one piece.

henlo everyone kip here, this is 2/2 of my lovely muses. ms. sue li is a hot bitch and honestly is only siding with the dark because she thinks they'll win atm. above has her profile/stats and her pinterest linked and below is some little information's about her!
born in glasglow, lankshire, scottland, only adoptive child of su feng li and dahyun kim
the way she acts for sure comes from the upbringing of extremely high standards especially since only one of her parents was a wizard.
they gunned for her to get into hogwarts as one of her mothers was an alumni as originally she wanted to go to another wizarding school, but there was no fighting the li legacy heir's fate.
she decided to make the experience her own (see: started stepping on necks and scheming her way to the top of the social ladder and heirarchy after her slytherin sorting)
pretends to be sickly sweet, those who know her well knows absolutely not
walking bombshell and knows it
secretly an art whore but will not join the art club bc her image wont allow her too. she often attends their exhibits and hangs out in the back not to be scene.
is an artist herself, specializes in sculpting and hyper realistic sketching
spellcasting major simply because of the power that comes with mastering multiple spells
borderline ravenclaw sorted, but the universe saved us all from that travesty
easy to make friends, hard to keep them
dad often donates to hogwarts as almost a little thumbs up for her to continue her studies
will not breathe a word to anyone about being a gamer girly^tm
often uses her position at the paper as leverage for favors and such.
charms club president
potions club member
likes boys and girls because why limit yourself to one aka whore.
really needs to be fucking tamed and put in her place...and yes she'll like it.
all in all she's a closet art and gamer nerd who has an insidious need to be the hottest bitch in charge. its engrained in her to be number one and if she can't do that solely in academics she'll do it in the social hierarchy though her grades rival some of the ravenclaw members. will literally die for you if she manages to care about you if not...goodluck charlie.
journalism is an art form, one which u-jin strongly believed sue had mastered the art of, she had tact whereas most journalists don't ( rita skeeter... was she even classed as one ? that he wasn't sure of ) and she was brilliant but sue already knew he thought she was brilliant as he has stated it multiple times prior to this. but he had to give her props for not over killing the tragedy of last year. or was it simply overdone, now ? old news ? nah, he didn't believe that as the prophet was still touching base on that topic to this day. distasteful. sue wasn't a vulture.
his back had started to ache in the lower part from sitting on this stool for so long, hunched over the table to look over their display of everything in which they had caputred from sue's notes and write-ups, that of other students write-ups which still needed to be edited and his photos. but everything had started to blur and haze around the edges from them dipping in and out of working on the paper to that of general conversation.
that he blinked at her twice, eyes widening out a little and quickly darting back to focus on what they had in front of them, this one page wasn't really sue's style. and he wondered why. ❛ honestly ? ❜ he signed to her, lightly shaking his head giving her the answer in short before he slowly and carefully signed out. ❛ no. it's not giving at all. where is sue's flare ? this page is mainly a write-up. ❜ he tapped on the page, he had been looking at for far too long earlier. ❛ maybe if we spin it inwards ? or for it to fuzz out for the fluffy nature of the piece ? ❜
as he replied, a shy smile formed over her lips. half because of the compliment, but the other half because he was right. it was missing something; her usual touches. sue was known for her salacious stories and gossip columns and fashion expose's but, she was still a damn good writer for the paper for the things that mattered. when you read the article, you were captivated by story even though it was all still facts. she didn't beat the dead horses or talk to the same sources, she went deeper in her questioning and used her charm to get answers from people who most couldn't.
" you're right, but," her hands hung in the air as she grasped for her words before they began to move again, " adding my flare means to go back out there and talk to some more people, do more research on who's connected to who, you know? ' the sign was rough, and she had to take pauses to remember them, spelling out the words she didn't know as at the very least she'd expertly masted the alphabet. " do you think there can be more to this? make it fluffy and not so....." she paused again and began to speak, "i don't know the sign for daunting."
fill the void with a body you know and know well, that's how he saw it. it was something comforting to him, more so these days then last. as he spent a lot sleepless hours to himself and his thoughts tend to darken whether from the horcrux on his finger or tired delirium or the waking nightmare of his summer vacation. he wasn't sure but it bugged him enough that he rarely slept at all. mercury eyes sharpened when the yapper had disappeared and he couldn't help but chuckle at their sudden absence. ❝ apparently, manners are unbecoming of a ravenclaw. ❞ he tsked out, watching them scurry into the sea of bodies.
her warmth against his side brought a knowing grin to his lips, this was familiar. he gently tugged her against his side, chasing her warmth. ❝ you. who else would there be ? ❞ he responses back, tilting his head to the side. ❝ you wound me, sue. i thought we were on first name basis. ❞ joking bringing his free hand to his chest, acting as if she had wounded him. before shaking his head at her. he leans in close to her ear. ❝ not the place to share bedroom stories. ❞
"i'm the biggest fame whore there is, aren't i?" she asked rhetorically, the rumors slightly true when they passed through house corridors. sue li this, sue li that, she's a slut, she's a whore, she's vile, she's nasty....all to be at the very least close to true. but the others were just as bad as her, in their own ways they were itching to be her, instead they judged in their failed attempts to do so. "and what would make you believe that....malfoy?" her tone was sensual and flirtatious, mouth stressing out his name in a playful moan, her eyes full of mirth.
sue nodded in faux agreeance, leaning back in her seat comfortably as if she'd been quieted. after a pause, she turned to him, leaning back into his space to return his sinister endeavors, "if you wanted to chat in the bedroom, draco, you should have just asked."
tracey let out a soft laugh, her voice bubbling up as she watched sue’s smirk mirror her own. leaning in close, she whispered playfully, "i’m guessing you just said, yes, tracey, my most favorite person in the world, i’d love to put you on our front page for all of hogwarts to see." her eyes sparkled with a teasing glint as she leaned back into her seat, crossing one leg over the other with graceful ease. "in which case, i'd say anything for you, my darling." she paused, reconsidering the offer with a slight grin. "just, no rom-coms."
sue's laugh matched tracey's per usual, not flinching as the other slytherin leaned in close to her, breaths ghosting against each others, remniscent of their past. her crimson smile grew as she rolled her eyes, knowing well her friend knew she never said that. "i saiiiid you're trying to flatter me to get your spot," sue translated roughly. like connected beings she leaned back at the same time as her. there was a pregnant pause before sue, in true fashion, relented. "you get a blip in the extras section, maybe." she continued to tease, "but i loooooove a good rom-com....fine. i think the menu just came to streaming."
she sat at the table, shuffling through her notes and u-jin's photos trying to figure which of them she'd choose. in true fashion, her and the hufflepuff had been up and down the campus trying to get the incoming flux of student body. questions about how they felt about the things that had transpired and an overall outlook on the semester. she had u-jin grab photos of the campus and incoming first years, wanting to making it a more fluffy and introspective piece about students returning with impending danger.
it was time to put it all together and get it ready to be reviewed for the howl, but they hadn't got much progress done, just sue enjoying her time with him...a little too much.
she hummed to get his attention so he could look at her as she brought her fingers up to sign her words, saying them out loud anyways even as her hands curved and tapped to get across what she'd been saying. 'bubba, do you think this is enough? i feel like its not...giving what i need, what do you think.' she'd come accustomed to the hufflepuff's input, these days his opinion was of the very fine amount that she cared for. maybe the most important one. @grcyfm
yappers. fascinating species of wix, indeed. especially to the slytherin, he watched as this wix want on and on to sue about why they should be on the front page. usually, this species of wix annoyed the hell out of him but when they were actively talking to someone else it was mildly entertaining at best. the party had turned to a bored about an hour ago for him, potter was actively trying to get a raise out of him and he was ignoring his very existence. it was easier said than done but he got by with little thought of the chosen one. bleh.
tiring rather quickly of his entertainment, draco came forward and gave a stern look at the yapper until they got the unspoken message to bugger off. greys catching dark brown on the fly, he shook his head with tsk. ❝ who would've known a ravenclaw to be such a fame whore ? ❞ he teased, not bothering to sit down where the claw once sat but rather stealing the space next to sue, herself. a long arm weighing over her delicate shoulders, making himself comfortable. ❝ that's not how we play, sue. ❞
they continued to speak. much to sue's dismay, and she listened preemptively to them drone on as they answered her, only to be interrupted by a handsome mug with a head full of platinum hair. it made a smile slither over her red lips knowing well how this was going to go. and just as if on cue, the head slytherin finished his stare down with the stray raven, leaving them quickly fleeing without so much of a good bye.
she wanted to offer a quip towards their departure, but instead was met with a warm body pressed next to hers, long, muscular arm caging her in. "me." she said in response, giving him a sensual smirk. "is it not malfoy?" sue teased him, "care to remind me?"
tracey couldn’t help but chuckle, leaning forward with a playful glint in her eyes. "uh, duh, sue, because it's awesome. i'm awesome," she declared, her grin widening as she tossed her hair back. she knew sue hadn't been paying much attention, but that didn’t bother her. sue was one of her closest friends, it was her job to pretend. "listen," she whispered, a small smirk playing on her face, "i know you’re think this is just another minor award, but come on, it’s me we’re talking about. you’d be doing the world a favor by reminding everyone just how incredible i am." she winked, adding a touch of drama to her words. "plus," she added, leaning back again with a smirk, "if anyone can make this headline worthy, it’s you."
the sixth years own eyes matched tracey's glint, as it often did. they were two inseparable forces, like gemini, continuously together driving either side of a being and making them completely whole. she watched as she tossed glorious locs over her shoulder, sue leaning in to catch her words as she whispered finally actually hearing her. the smirk that tipped on her best friends lips only made her own grapple at the corners of ruby tiers. "i'd be doing the world a favor? you think we have to remind the school how incredible you are? you think existing everyday isn't enough?" sue teased her friend, "you're trying to flatter me into writing it." she spurted in mandarin, before she rolled her eyes. "one condition, sleep over at your place and i pick the movie."
he'd been avoiding EVERY newspaper after seeing the collections of articles that were discrediting him and dumbledore, making the decision to not bother with them at all. brows raise when sue li addressed him, cautiously bringing bright orbs to scan the contents of the page, relieved that for ONCE it wasn't about him, " personally, i think it's brilliant. best story yet. " besides bland wasn't necessarily a BAD thing these days.
the half-blood couldn't help the way her dark brown orbs rolled at potter's optimism. of course he thought it was a good idea. one thing about harry potter was that he always had an air of brightness around hm. it was sometimes sickening, other times annoying. he was already a pariah and a hero all at the same time, his input on what goes on the front paper simply seemed...performative. "best story potter? please get your head out of the ass of the people. no one's going to pick up the paper with that on the front cover. you want us to lose our audience? people want stories. something compelling not..." she motioned haphazardly to the other student, "some half baked happily ever after tale. plus...i don't remember asking you." her gaze was harsh and transfixed on him wanting to know where he got the gall to interject when she was around.
🖤🥀 open starter // location: clock tower courtyard
the courtyard was buzzing with students of all years but as usual the Slytherins group together near the fountain creating all kinds of chaos. in true snake queen fashion, there was sat pansy on the lap of a sixth year as they shared a bud and all of their personal space. it was when someone approached them that her gaze locked with the sixth year's, and a mischievous smirk danced on her lips and the dark haired witch plucked the cig from between the other's fingers and looked over at the new comer. "are you wanting to join, darling?"
sue li always tended to do this. look for pansy when she needed a little pick me up or someone to stroke her ego while she simultaneously stroked theirs. if pansy was the snake queen, sue was the dragon deity that mirrored her power, and it was shown in the way she strutted straight towards her, dismissing the other sixth year so she could slip into their spot. without hesitation she nipped the fifth years cigarette from her pretty...and familiar fingers and took her own drag from it, leaving the remnants of pretty red lipstick on its end for her fellow slytherin to indulge. "i've been looking every where for you." she assured, flashing seductive eyes at her friend before leaning back comfortably in her stolen seat.
