Fandomless, but she's been around Ghost the most lately. Urban/Modern fantasy is easiest, but I can smoosh her into most anything with magic.
Necromancer -- she has to kiss the body to embue some of her soul into it to control the undead. This works on existing undead not of her creation, including vampires.
She does her own acrylics, and they have the Ghost Touch charm embedded in them, so that she can touch ghosts. Naturally, she can also see them.
Her family is a large cult community of shapeshifters. I wrote her religion down here years ago. The cult is not like modern actual cults, but like fantasy cults. I hate that I have to specify that, but someone did once try to call me out as misrepresenting survivors of actual real people cults and I'm like homie none of the real people cults are made up of a family of shapeshifts and magic. Rabbit is incapable of shapeshifting, and was ostracized for this and her necromancy. Through lots of family politics, her father and mother were killed, and she blames her Uncle, and by proxy, her half-sister.
Most of her motivation in life is to undo the entire family, which mostly lives in a large compound in Arkansas (or elsewhere, if fantasy based)
Rabbit Vasque is not her real name. The shapeshifters take on aliases because True Names carry magic. Her real name is Marishka Amsing, but your muse will very likely not know this.
Rabbit escaped from her family with her first boyfriend, Amour, a descendent of Greek muses who was also the lead singer of a bad who was growing in popularity. Amour is my friend Bryn's oc, though she has long given him up (we were writing this all originally on a forum for a web comic called Order of the Stick back in 2009). They broke up, by which I mean Rabbit freaked out after a year and disappeared in the middle of the night. Amour's band got popular, but her leaving upset him and so he went solo. He's now ~Hozier level popular, as well as having that kind of sound. Rabbit can't listen to the radio without hearing him, so she doesn't really listen to the radio.
I'm gonna be real, she is not nice. Misanthropic. I often say she's not friendly, but she can be a friend. Women will find this easier, despite the fact she has no romantic interest in them.
Maybe that's why? Who can say.
Although it was not the case with Amour, any future relationships must require some exchange of pain on her part. She is not interested in any endeavors that do not include hurting her to some capacity, although she can make due with the usual accepted pain play (spanking, biting, flogging, slapping, etc etc etc)
During the day she is a tax preparation professional. She'll do your muses taxes, basically, in a small office. Her apartment is above this. At night, she's often raising the dead for the deceased's family, friends, business partners, etc for a hefty fee. I did draw a lot of her professional career from the Ani.ta Bl.ake books tbh.
She also sells small spells from the same office, though these aren't advertised. You gotta know someone who knows someone to ask. Otherwise, people visiting the office just thinks she really likes crystals.
Rabbit is lowkey buff. Comes from being born to barbarian shapeshifters, tbh. I personally think its just funny to have a strong necromancer, since in pop culture they're so often twiggy.

oh, and she's halfway to being a lich. She has a phylactery. It's a secret. This means it's pretty much impossible to permanently kill her without that phylactery.
