“Shinamon Kun Cosplay” on Youtube just posted this mess of a “tutorial” on Youtube in which they use tape to pull their eyelids back to look Korean.

I thought we all left this pulling eyes thing back in elementary school. Am I wrong? Are white people seriously using TAPE to look Asian and thinking this is an acceptable thing to post on the Internet? 

Though with that weebish username, I’m really not surprised.

The most hilarious thing to me is the whiny, self-pitying caption they posted on Instagram:

alright I agree with oreostruly, with which fact you arrived to the conclusion that she is racist ? because she tried a make up for look like an Asian ? is that racism ? I know this girl and she totally has nothing against Asia also in her everyday life she is like all the other normal girls, she do this kind of make up just for cosplay, she never said that she wanted to be Asian, she just tried to do a Korean make up, and you know what ? I am a cosplayer as well and when I do my make up for it I always try to look a bit Asian and you know what again ? I have a lot of Asian friends, also my boyfriend is but they never said anything bad about it because it’s not a racist act. I will kindly remind you also that a lot of Asian do things on their face for look like an occidental such as apply prosthesis on their nose or mark the eyelid, also the clothes and many more things, so as we try to look like Asian, Asian also try to look like us.
