Idols like akari from aikatsu or keke tang from LL mean so fluffing much to me. i love how they start off as not athletic, not that good at dancing or even singing ꒰ debatable ꒱ and they work super hard towards their goals of being an idol. they want to make others smile from their performance & have fun on the stage for themselves. they push for their goals even if it's harder for them than it is for other people.

below i have attached my own personal experiences as well as my thoughts & feelings you're free to read them if you like but it is long ♡ if you choose to read, please do make yourself a warm cup of tea & get cozy & warm 🫖💕
they make me feel so happy & feel seen, so so much so. i'm not athletic, never have been i always was the slowest runner during track, i always was the cheerleader who wanted to so very much be in line with my fellow cheerleaders only to mess up steps or even fall down during practices. always picked last for sports, voice cracks during choir, shyness and covering myself up when on stage, the drama student who put too much in to the point the performance and emotions weren't believable. My childhood dream was to be a singer or actress, i love entertaining people and having fun whilst doing so. my parents always shot this idea down with words such as you don't sing good enough, it's hard to make a living out of that if you don't have connections.
sometimes when i watch these girls put their all in even when they have all odds against them it makes me feel a little sad, what if i never gave up? what if i continued to strive to be the performer i wanted to be. what if i wanted as well to dance & sing on a stage or even just in front of some friends, i'm sure i would never forget the smile on their face.
i have watched these girls be put down, i have seen them almost fail or fail, i've seen them have silly and wonky practices or performances which makes them feel so much more real to me. their dream of being an idol means so much to them that even in the hard moments they can find motivation to make their dream come true. like how no matter how hard akari tried she couldn't use the special appeal, so she even went to idol bootcamp. i like to headcanon it took akari several months to a year after her debut to be able to finally get the hang of dancing. to be able to control her breathing whenever she dances & sings at the same time. i like to think she started out not being able to sing at all, a dream with no talents to this dream. everything she has she worked so very hard for, and it means so much to me. she started out with a goal, one which seemed impossible yet she worked so hard to get better and better everytime.
i think this is why i love idols so much, i love seeing them go from very very beginner level -> beginner but knows some stuff -> amateur -> intermediate -> professional. it takes so much time and effort and passion to make a dream come true like this, some people may have it easier. some people naturally have a better starting point whether it be athletics or singing, but seeing someone who isn't good at either get better at both overtime is so rewarding. the novelty of it makes me want to root for their success even more 🩷
not only this though, but it makes me feel like even now i have the chance to put in the effort, time, love, passion, and energy into becoming an idol as well. i have found out about kaigai idols quite a long time ago, but it always seemed really beyond me as if i could never do that. but the thing is, i can. i can do whatever i put my mind to as well even if it takes me longer, even if it is years until im on a stage dancing and singing with others. i thought i was too old, but ive seen so many kaigai idols from my local EGL groups & communities near me, idol festivals, etc. Idols who are all sorts of ages and from all different skill levels, body types, health, ages, etc. idols as young as 15 or older such as 50+. i think now anyone can become a kaigai idol if you have the love & passion for it.
so this is where i ask myself, how do i start doing this, i know i have the love & passion. do i have the motivation, do i have the determination & willpower to learn to sing & to dance? i mess up on steps, i am clumsy and have a hard time even running a lap or two around my local park's track course. but anyone can be an idol, if you love something you can nurture it. just as a garden won't bloom without care your hobbies will never sprout fruit if you don't do anything to care for them.
!! this is where i decided im going to start off by trying to learn how to sing better as well as well as starting with something small like a song cover or learning various dances from my favorite idols & posting me dancing on sites like youtube! it seems scary, but ill never know how far i'll shine if i don't try & i want to shine enough to illuminate the path for others that also have something they so desperately want to do but are too scared. it doesn't have to be dark forever, you aren't too old, too frail or too big, too tall or too short, too clumsy, too "talentless." talent only can take you so far, the real strive is seeing just how far you'll go. 🩷
so im saying this now .. maybe just to myself or maybe to someone feeling the same way who took the time to read this. if you truly in your heart of hearts love something so deeply you should pursue it. it doesn't matter who you are or where you are in life, pursue what you love there is never a better time then now. 🩷

Also princess alice noticed it has been awhile since she last made a diary post! 🖍️ This year has been lovely so far.. aside from some small stress with work she's been adjusting to a new weekend schedule ! She also has been dancing more & trying to learn various different songs & dances from pripara ♥︎ it is such a fun way to exercise 🎀
Pwehehehe, 🍰 also have noticed my anniversary with my sweet riri moria bear is soon~ & we also have now officially been living together for two years!! isn't that so many? & how lovely it is to be surrounded by love all the time ! we are saving up to move to a coastal city too so alice can visit the beach 🌊 everyday!! it's always been her favorite~ she loves the adorable sparkly ocean ! ໒꒰ྀི ◍ ´꒳` ◍ ꒱ྀི১
Princess also has been obsessed w/ Pokopia & is creating an adorabubbles pastel beachy city~! wif cute adorable purple & pink houses & cute fairy & water type Pokémon~ Oooo and and also she has many arts she is working on !!
