I think a lot of us are growing too comfortable with cancel culture around here. I've seen a lot of examples where we don't have the best experience with someone, so we automatically go to all our girlfriends and gossip and tell them not to session with that person.

It's getting old.

I’ve been here a long time in various roles and life stages and advocate for speaking up and supporting each other when safety or boundaries are involved and I have my ears and eyes open always. Conflict between partners, hurt feelings, mismatched expectations happen. That’s just part of being human and sharing a kink (or any community) space with others. It’s happened to me, it’s happened to every one of my friends. This isn’t about defending “bad behaviors”, it’s about rejecting culture where people have tried to, and successfully, exiled people over private issues and misconstrued narratives. A community can’t survive when drama and canceling is put above education and growth and it paves the way for actual safety issues.
