Reader x daveed
30 minutes later, here she is standing in front of the theatre. The crowed is way larger than what she expected to say the least. Looks like people are setting high expectations for this musical. Her thoughts drifted to her friend back-stage and she prayed for any higher power up there to help him through this night. Few minutes later the doors opened and the crowd started moving and each person was seated in his proper place. She was lucky enough to get a seat in the 3 row a little a bit to the right side, she couldn’t be any happier with her place. She had to remember to thank Lin later for this great gift. Next to her sat a beautiful woman accompanied by a small child. The two women exchanged greetings and (y/n) soon recognized her as Lin’s wife and his little son. He did show her a picture of them on vacation when they first met. Vanessa also recognized (Y/n) from Lin’s stories about her and their little meetings. She was happy that they finally met. They continued to exchange small-talks until the lights turned off the show started. The curtains opened and the music filled the air, (y/n) was enjoying the show for the first 30 seconds. Suddenly, she heard his voice a shiver ran down her spine. She couldn’t believe this was happening to her again. She was extremely close to the stage, she could clearly see him. Same hair, same face, same height, same everything. Her hands started to get clammy. She wanted to dash out of the room and hide in the safety of her home but her body refused to move, it’s like she was gravitated toward him. She hoped that he couldn’t see her, that the lights were too bright for him to be able to focus on her. But the light was clearly not a problem. Lin was able to sneak a smile your way and a wink to Vanessa at which she giggled and blushed. They were too adorable honestly. (y/n) tried to calm herself, but she couldn’t help admiring him from far. Her eyes followed him, she loved the way he moved, and the way he smiled made her feel warm on the inside. Soon enough she lost herself inside her head. She started remembering the times they shared over and over and over again. She started imagining what it will be like this time, her thoughts drifted to how it will end. Her stomach twisted at the idea, it made her sick. She couldn’t bear to watch him die again slipping between her fingers. Her heart can only take so much pain and grief. The first act came to a closure so she grabbed her bag and started to leave only for Vanessa to grab her by the arm’ (y/n) you’re leaving? The show is not over yet! Lin will be so sad if he won’t find you later.’ Her heart started to beat faster she would do anything to avoid meeting him although she didn’t want to disappoint her friend. She had to come up with a lie to escape to the safety of her home. ‘I’m sorry Vanessa but I’m not feeling too well I must leave, please tell Lin that I’m really sorry’ she responded. Vanessa spoke again her voice laced with worry ‘do you need me to call a cab for you or anything?’ (y/n) reassured the brunette saying she would be ok and that she will call her and Lin when she feels better. Both women said their goodbyes and (y/n) left the theatre in a hurry, the raid back home was longer than usual, her head started to hurt and she felt so overwhelmed. She surely didn’t expect her night to turn out this way. She walked into her room and throw herself on her bed all she needs right now is sleep, tomorrow she’ll think of how to avoid him.
