ive been working on putting together custom gag panels for my toontown ocs, and i really like how they turned out!

this is what jillian wears while shes working for the sellbots! figured she probably wouldnt want to be in her magician outfit for that lol

of course theres nothing automatically wrong with liking cogs, but ive noticed that people who generally like cogs more than toons/have cogs be what they like about toontown the most, both often by a wide margin, and particularly people who are attracted to certain cogs tend to very easily give into capitalist and colonist propaganda and not have the best understanding of what the cogs are meant to represent/how theyre meant to be seen

too often and frequently do i see people woobify cogs and act like the cogs as a whole are more sympathetic than theyre meant to be, even moreso than the toons, or even that the cogs are better/more likeable than the toons and that they should win. im not a fan of seeing cogs portrayed as Just Like The Toons or toons portrayed as Just Like The Cogs

in general i also find that people who like cogs the most compared to anything else in toontown tend to chiefly focus on the cogs and act like the game is solely based around and about the cogs/that theyre the sole focal point of the game, and that its more of The Cog Game than The Toon Game

i dont say any of this to be accusatory or inflammatory or to gatekeep, again its fine to like villains and find them and their motives interesting, but i do think there could be more tactfulness and thoughtfulness when it comes to how people view the cogs in particular
