Summary: In his defence, Sugawara Koushi’s tuition fees were not supposed to cost an arm and a leg. In his defence, he wasn’t supposed to drunkenly propose to his best friend in order to qualify for a higher tier of financial aid. In his defence, Sawamura Daichi wasn’t supposed to say yes.

In which Daichi and Suga discover the trials of navigating a fake marriage with real feelings.

Sawamura Daichi. 

Stubborn, silly, strong Daichi. Hot-tempered, tired Daichi who cares too much and gets hurt sometimes. Gentle, kind, steadfast Daichi, with the careful hands and ready smile. Daichi who tries to help everyone and keeps his promises.

This is the person Koushi knows, the one he has fallen in love with.   

Koushi also knows that Daichi cannot dissemble past a certain point, that he has his heart in everything. 

What Koushi isn’t sure of, is afraid to know, is: Has Daichi put his heart into this marriage?

Maybe its one of the factors for me too, that it was more evident more than ever that the series was ending because well, he said it loud and clear it was the final arc. somehow i couldn't wrap my head around how a series that spent 9 months in one game can graduate third years and come back 5 years later in two chapters.

but im going to give it a chance and keep an open mind, i miss the characters tbh and i guess i'm finally okay with not seeing them as second or third years. ^^

hiii, i get that you're afraid of ruining the fandom for yourself but consider this: haikyuu actually did the time skip thingy right. we see what happened to most characters (almost literally EVERYONE). new teams. new combinations of people playing together. teeny tiny details that make these characters we love so dearly even more loveable, because they're older, changed, but still the same in other ways. tbh i love the manga even more after it ended the way it did :)

Thank you! And yeah, maybe its just me expecting a second year arc and then getting whiplash when surprise 5 years later and just it broke my heart a little.

But I'll try to give it a chance, i think i read til oiks and hinata met and i guess seeing their little interaction was actually kinda nice ^^ thank you for taking time to answer too ♡
