do any of you remember what it felt like to be part of something? to feel like the meaningless shit you wrote because you wanted to write was cared about? to feel like it all made sense at the end of the day, because you weren’t alone. i certainly don’t. and it’s hard to get myself to write more than a couple times a year. where has the time gone? where have i gone? i am sure all of you have found something new. but i miss myself and what we once were. feels like some sort of dream and sometimes, just sometimes, when i close my eyes just enough, i can remember it happened.

I suppose I’m a fairly boring person. I spend most of my time reading, watching Netflix, and on tumblr/twitter. To me there’s nothing better than getting lost in a book. Well well, about me...hmm. My name changes a lot, but those two names are generally okay to call me, since my state of mind can change like the weather. I love pastel/kawaii/cute things and styles, and am vary passionate about Cosplay. I'm planning to go to college soon, and dream of being a pharmacist, and eventually being able to travel abroad and teach English to younger kids in Japan. I've had a lot of problems in terms of mental health, and I absolutely try my hardest to come to terms with my own, and help people as much as I can, because we are all suffering in some way, and to be helpful to someone does a whole lot of uplift in the grand scheme of dismality in the world. I also enjoy art and fashion a great deal, and consider those my passions. I've come from a place where I'm not totally listened to all the time, and let's just say if anyone needs anyone to vent about emotional abuse in a house, I can most certainly help ^_^ I'm learning Japanese for my future, and plan to also learn Chinese in the future. So I go through name changes about as often as a puppy pees where its not supposed to. (was that funny? who knows.) You’ll often see me posting negative suggestions, but I’m hopefully trying to transition into more positive affirmation posts.

Hey guys! I’m sorry I’ve been so late in posting here, but I suppose I’m on a sort of mini-hiatus. I’ve travelled to the opposite end of the country to spend a couple of weeks with my boyfriend, and then he’ll be coming back with me after that for another couple of weeks. I’m awkward, and annoyingly shy at first, but once you get to know me... I’m just this really irritating, aggressive person. In a nice way. Hey!!  I’m Sofie, aka @intimatesuggestions, aka @shes-cryinglightning.  So, what should I say here?  Well, I live in New England, for a start.  I spend a lot of my time on tumblr, listening to music, reading, or working.  As for music I’m into, I think rock/alternative is a pretty good descriptor for it, but it’s kind of all over the place.  Like, I love everything from French pop to Childish Gambino to classic rock.  I want to start a vinyl collection someday, but record players and vinyls themselves are expensive.  Aside from that, I do theater at my school.   We just did Grease back in May, so if you’re a big fan of that, I’ll totally fangirl with you.  As for what my blog is like, I often say that it’s a product of my loneliness.  It’s basically just romantic shit I wish I had in my life, a lot of poetry and whatnot.  Despite being lonely all the time, I’m a pretty positive person overall.  Somehow, my desire to stay on top of the news hasn’t affected that (yay Brexit, yay Trump).  Also I really love art.  Free admission to art museums gives me life.  So yeah, I think that’s about it for me, you guys should totally hmu sometime :)
