Hi JunBun Fam,

We just wanted to leave this message to explain a few things as we’ve been seeing a few “upset”/“sarcastic” comments saying that our Suho Knighthood birthday project is a bootlegged copy of Sehun’s Lordship project.  We wanted to clarify, because you guys are our cherished supporters and family to us, that there was no intent of “cheaping out”.  In fact, we spent 5x more than the budget for Sehun’s Lordship.  The reason why we chose Knightship in Sealand was because it seemed very fitting for our leader.  He is a protector and guardian, holds the fort of EXO, and has the power of “water” which is what surrounds Sealand.  In addition, Sealand striving for its own independence, despite all odds being against them, reminded us of Suho’s seven years of determination as a trainee.  He is smol, just like Sealand, but made a name for himself. You don’t have to agree with our analysis; we just saw the opportunity and thought it’d be a cool project that would bring a smile to Suho and EXO-Ls’ faces.  

This project is meant as a fun present for Suho and the fans, I hope you and others don’t assume anything malignant out of it.

Yes, we just saw the parallels between Suho + Sealand (plus, that it does sound magical).  Sealand does actually exist and we liked the connection with water being Suho’s power but also because it is a fort that didn’t sink despite wars and battles it’s been through.  We saw it as a parallel with our determined leader who went through adversities, not only in his seven years as a trainee, but also as the leader and rock of EXO who does not budge nor give up no matter what.  Sealand is also notorious for its small size, much like Leader-nim, smol but powerful and unyielding, and able to make a name for himself.  We also chose it because Sealand gave has the “Knight” option, which our team thought fit Junmyeon, who is the protector and guardian of EXO.
