I spent the last 5 years of my life holding onto one glimmer of hope... Today I came to the realisation that it was a dead end. I no longer have anything to hold for. Any one of these days now I will also come to the realisation that I am no longer scared to go through with something I held off for so long.

I could spend hours listening and helping someone when they talk down on themselves or have a problem they think they will never get over, even if it's back and forth, I will still be there patiently to lift them up. But when the tables are reversed I'm always given a 'get over it' attitude from the very same people I tried so hard to help. I wonder why I even bother, I'm never going to have people in my life who will hear me out and make me feel less alone but it's always because I don't want them to feel the way they're making me feel. It's unfair.
