I was thinking of my clamp ships and reoccurring themes and such.  There should be a clamp “romance guide” with dos and donts 

like arm loss DO: the Kurogane way, cut off your own arm to save the guy you like ABSOLUTELY DO NOT: like Bols from Clover: cut off the other guy’s arm and “go to bed with it every night”

Or eye loss thing YES: Kokuyo way, give your eye to the person you love because that is the custom in where you are from, and they are cool with that NICE: Share your eye sight with a guy so neither of you actually have to be half blind. SWEET: Completely give up the power to see your mother’s spirit and to know when your little sister is in danger (while accepting that handing over your magic will also mean that you will have to cope with fatigue) to save the boy you like (and his non-human alter ego) from vanishing.

RISKY (BUT WORTH IT): Agreeing to become the sole food source for the guy you like in order to keep him from dying, even though you do not even know all the details yet and even though he will resent you for it.

JUST ??? (AGAIN): Telling the man who loves you to eat you so that he will receive your strength, should he be forced to fight your kid.
