A small smile graced her pink lips in a fleeting motion, the usual cold façade back on Sumin's soft features as she took a step forward and climbed the stairs that lied upon, enabling her the way into the lifestyle she always desired. No more hiding. No more lying. Finally, she would be okay. Be free. With a last glance over her shoulder, dark brown hair brushing over her arm and falling to the side, the yellow cab behind her taking off and disappearing into the distance, she knew that now her soul was free. Once she reached the last step up high and stood in front of the mansion she couldn't help but smile again at the prospect of moving into the inviting building, calling it her home.
The big front door seemed intimidating at first, but that wouldn't stop her from marching in with her shoulders back, stomach sucked in, chest out and her chin up high. One hand on the doorknob and the other hold tightly onto the strap of her travel bag she stilled, taking in a deep breath. Sumin was about to open the door as she heard a car approaching relatively fast, making her stop in her track and furrow her brows into a slight scowl, whipping head around to watch down the street and soon scout the yellow cab moving closer towards the mansion.
First she was confused, thinking that it was the car who brought her here and she might forgot to pay the driver, but she remembered paying the amount that was displayed in LEDs, so she scowled even more and withdraw her hand to instead turn around completely and stay in a safe distance, watching silently.
The cab stopped and Sumin leaned forward unconsciously, peeking into the car window to get a glimpse of the person sitting inside, her expression softening as she made out the shape of another girl. She waited and it seemed like minutes passed before the unknown girl finally got out of the car and she would be lying if Sumin wouldn't admit how pretty the girl looked. From the posture to the hair, to her heels that only enhanced her body figure, everything seemed to fit.
She was so lost in her little admiring session that she didn't notice the girl approaching and only as she was almost up the stairs Sumin awoke from her starring into nothing and actually blushed, ashamed of herself for getting so distracted right away. What would the other think if she saw Sumin standing there and being completely unfocused and stone-still ? She didn't want to leave a false first expression and so she quickly readjusted her clothing and run a hand through her long hair, sweeping behind and to one side, a few strands falling back into place and she awaited the girl to arrive, but she never did. Sumin blinked. Twice. Before curiosity got the better of her and she stepped near the stairs, finding the girl lying there.
"Oh no!", she gasped and was quick to react, letting go of her bag to run down the stairs and next to the stranger and fell to her knees, ignoring the short burn of her skin as she hovered her head over the other's, hand coming up to pick up the lacey underwear and get a glimpse at the girl's face.
"Are you okay? Did you get hurt?" Sumin worried her lips and put the underwear aside, resting a hand next to the girl's head while the other came up again to check the girl's head, trying to look beneath it to see if she got hurt and maybe even lost some blood.
