We really wanted to show something soft, sweet, and intimate for this day. Since Elain and Lucien both love the outdoors, we thought Elucien gardening together and spending the day out in the sun would be perfect!

Ever since I first heard this song, for some reason I really connected it to Elucien and I figured it would be the perfect concept to gift to my dear friend @amandapearls! I hope you enjoy this gift darling💞

Maybe it’s the fun and whimsy side to it, or the line about visions or feeling queasy from how nervous love makes you, but I just knew I had to commission an artwork of Elain and Lucien with this song!

A major thank you to the fabulous @adooble for creating this artwork which looks straight out of a manga! I positively adore it! You captured the fun and romance so wonderfully!

someone asked you about Elain's curly hair and it is canon that she has curly hair. Its written in the book itself:

Elain, the promise of Spring 🥀

“It was Spring, and yet it wasn’t. The sun was mild, the day clear, distant dogwoods and lilacs still in eternal bloom. Distant—because on the estate, nothing bloomed at all. The pink roses that had once climbed the pale stone walls of the sweeping manor house were nothing but tangled webs of thorns.”

I imagine Elain going on many adventures and visiting many courts, but no place has been more connected to her and foreshadowed than the Spring Court, whether she rules or resides there or helps in its restoration before moving on. I loved the fairytale feeling of the first book and I’ve missed it ever since. I would love to experience it again with Elain’s book!

When I was imagining Elain approaching a dying Spring Court, I immediately thought of @oliv_pit and knew she would be the perfect artist for this idea! I’m in love with what she created! Thank you so much again! 😘
