I just saw an EL say Elain and Lucien are both thoughtful about their gifts to others….

First of all is Lucien really a thoughtful gift giver?? He got feyre and Rhys alcohol, Elain gloves that Feyre basically told him to get, and the pearl earrings that made Elain shrink into herself after opening.

Meanwhile Azriel and Elain give complementing gifts.

ACOFAS - Elain gave Feyre paint brushes , Azriel gave Feyre special paints.

ACOSF - Elain gave Nesta a book store voucher (plus gave her books in ACOFAS) and Azriel gave Nesta the little book light that she loved.

Today I saw a TikTok video where someone spent the entire video talking shit about Elain, and the comments were just as bad. They kept saying she's boring, bland, doesn't deserve Az, and that she should end up with Lucien.

After reading all of that, I genuinely hope the next book is about Elain. I hope Books 6/7/8 give us her POV, and that SJM writes her character so well that everyone who doubted her has to eat their words.

And I hope Elain ends up with Azriel, so these people can keep crying about it. I'll enjoy every single second of their misery.

I don't know if SJM is a fated mates author or not.

But I know for sure, she's not a pathetic miserable allergic to sexual tension and non existent romantic context mates author.

I'm sorry, am I supposed to believe that the guy who can't even pick a good gift for his mate is going to be the endgame of a girl who's canonically in love with the man who ACTUALLY KNEW what happened to her when no one listened?? In front of her “mate” btw.

The Elucien bond should almost feel like the ultimate Endgame Card™ for your ship, and on the contrary, Sarah has only spoken about it in the context of broken or wrong mating bonds.

The Elriel are True True mates theory is not even that revolutionary or groundbreaking or an amazing theory or point. It's not, trust me, it's just freaking text.

Elucien is just that bad. Like, us Elriels don't really need much to prove Elucien is shit.
